Verleg grenzen als clinical trial assistant - studieverpleegkundige binnen ons centrum klinische farmacologie

Momenteel zijn we op zoek naar een studieverpleegkundige.Je wordt als verpleegkundige ingeschakeld in het team dat vooral fase I klinische studies bij gezonde vrijwilligers coördineert en uitvoert binnen het centrum klinische farmacologie.

Het betreft een inschakeling van onbepaalde duur met een tewerkstellingspercentage tussen 60% en 100%.

Hoe verleg je grenzen?

  • Je hebt een belangrijke rol in de uitvoering van fase 1 klinische studies.
  • Je bent actief betrokken bij het screenen van studiedeelnemers.
  • Je staat in voor het verzamelen van gegevens door observatie van studiedeelnemers, het uitvoeren van bloedafnames en urinecollecties, het meten van fysieke parameters (e.g. vitale parameters, ECG, …) en het vervolledigen van vragenlijsten.
  • Je verdeelt en dient medicatie toe, inclusief intraveneuze en subcutane toedieningen.
  • Je bent betrokken bij het verwerken van (bloed en urine)stalen.
  • Je werkt mee aan de administratieve verwerking van klinische studies.
  • Je werkt samen met collega-studiemedewerkers, artsen, apothekers en verpleegkundigen.

Wat heb je daarvoor nodig?

  • Je bezit een professionele bachelor in de verpleegkunde of vroedkunde.
  • Je beschikt over goede sociale vaardigheden.
  • Je communiceert vlot, zowel naar studiedeelnemers, artsen als contactpersonen van farmaceutische firma's.
  • Je werkt zelfstandig en nauwkeurig.
  • Je hebt organisatietalent en zin voor initiatief.
  • Je hebt een goede basiskennis van het Engels.
  • Je bent bereid om bijkomende opleidingen en studievergaderingen te volgen.
  • Je bent stressbestendig en bereid om avond-, nacht- en weekendwerk te verrichten.
