We're looking for an experienced and results-driven Regional Vice President of Resort Operations to lead a portfolio of managed resorts and drive exceptional performance across an assigned region.

This is an opportunity for a hospitality executive who knows how to balance financial performance, operational excellence, and exceptional guest and owner experiences. You'll lead and develop Resort General Managers, strengthen operating standards, and help build high-performing teams that make a meaningful difference for our owners, guests, and associates.

We're looking for someone who thinks strategically, leads with accountability, and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves. Someone who understands that great resort performance starts with great leadership and that being present in the field is just as important as making decisions in the boardroom.

Your Impact

As Regional Vice President of Resort Operations, you'll be responsible for driving performance, developing talent, and ensuring operational excellence across your assigned resort portfolio.

Regional Leadership & Operational Excellence

  • Provide strategic direction and oversight to Resort General Managers across multiple properties.
  • Translate company objectives into actionable regional strategies and measurable performance goals.
  • Ensure consistency in resort operations, service standards, property conditions, and guest and owner experiences.
  • Evaluate operational performance and implement improvements that strengthen efficiency, productivity, and service quality.
  • Create a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Financial Performance & Business Results

  • Own regional financial performance, including operating budgets, forecasts, expenses, labor efficiency, and profitability.
  • Analyze key performance indicators, including occupancy, RevPAR, guest satisfaction, and operational productivity.
  • Identify opportunities to increase revenue, optimize costs, and improve overall resort profitability.
  • Oversee capital expenditure priorities and operational investments in partnership with corporate leadership.
  • Partner with resort leaders to develop and execute plans that deliver sustainable financial and operational results.

Leadership & Talent Development

  • Recruit, coach, mentor, and develop Resort General Managers and emerging hospitality leaders.
  • Build strong leadership teams that consistently deliver results and exceptional service.
  • Champion associate engagement, retention, leadership development, and succession planning.
  • Partner with People & Culture and Talent Acquisition to ensure resorts have the talent and capabilities needed to succeed.
  • Create an environment where associates understand expectations, feel supported, and take pride in delivering exceptional experiences.

Guest & Owner Experience

  • Champion a hospitality-first mindset that places guests and owners at the center of operational decisions.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction, owner feedback, and service performance to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Partner with resort leaders to resolve escalated concerns and address recurring service challenges.
  • Collaborate with Owner Experiences and other teams to strengthen satisfaction, trust, and long-term loyalty.
  • Ensure resort teams consistently deliver experiences that reflect Vacatia's standards and service philosophy.

Compliance, Safety & Enterprise Partnership

  • Ensure resorts operate in accordance with company standards and applicable safety, legal, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular property visits and operational reviews to evaluate performance, readiness, and compliance.
  • Partner with Finance, People & Culture, Risk Management, Technology, Marketing, and other corporate functions.
  • Support new initiatives, technology implementations, organizational changes, and operational improvements across the region.

What You Bring

  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in hospitality, resort operations, or a related industry.
  • Proven success overseeing multiple resort properties or large-scale hospitality operations.
  • Demonstrated experience leading, coaching, and developing General Managers or comparable senior operational leaders.
  • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, P&L management, expense control, and financial analysis.
  • A track record of improving operational results, profitability, guest satisfaction, and service quality.
  • A hands-on leadership style with the ability to balance strategic direction and property-level execution.
  • Strong business judgment, analytical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and leadership skills.
  • Experience building high-performing teams and driving accountability across geographically dispersed locations.
  • The ability to influence and collaborate effectively with both operational and corporate leadership.
  • A bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 60% within the assigned region.

Bonus Points

  • Experience in vacation ownership, timeshare, mixed-use resorts, or professionally managed resort environments.
  • Experience supporting resort portfolio growth, property integrations, or operational transformation.
  • Familiarity with resort technology, property management systems, and operational reporting tools.
  • An MBA or other relevant advanced degree.

Location & Travel

This position offers flexibility to be based within the assigned region, with regular travel of up to 60% to Vacatia-managed resort properties.
