Dat doen we met doordachte slurry-oplossingen die technisch onderbouwd zijn en echt werken in de praktijk.

Bij Vaikon werk je in een hoog technische niche, waar je meedenkt met klanten, processen doorgrondt en oplossingen uitwerkt die het verschil maken. Je komt terecht in een sterk technisch-commercieel team, waar kennis gedeeld wordt, verantwoordelijkheid wordt genomen en samenwerking centraal staat.​

Jouw rol als Solution Engineer

Als Solution Engineer ben jij de technische spil tussen de accountmanager en/of business development manager, engineering en service. Je analyseert klantprocessen, vertaalt technische uitdagingen naar concrete oplossingen en begeleidt klanten in hun investeringsbeslissingen.

Je combineert diepgaande technische kennis met sterke communicatieve vaardigheden en werkt oplossingen uit die economisch, duurzaam en technisch correct zijn. Van eerste analyse tot overdracht naar project engineering: jij bewaakt de inhoudelijke kwaliteit van het traject.

Je werkt:

  • vanuit Vaikon HQ in Lommel, én
  • on-site bij klanten in de BeNeLux

Wat ga je concreet doen?

  • Analyseren van klantprocessen en technische behoeften (debiet, druk, abrasiviteit, procescondities, …)
  • Ontwerpen en uitwerken van slurry-oplossingen en pompselecties volgens sizing-procedures
  • Uitvoeren van technische berekeningen, dimensioneringen en risicoanalyses
  • Opstellen van technische datasheets, schema’s, presentaties en offertes
  • Samenwerken met accountmanagement om opportuniteiten om te zetten in onderbouwde oplossingen
  • Opstellen, toelichten en opvolgen van technische en commerciële offertes
  • Presenteren van oplossingen aan klanten (on-site of digitaal)
  • Uitvoeren van demo’s, testen, productvergelijkingen en technische workshops
  • Uitwerken en structureren van basic-engineeringdossiers voor overdracht naar project engineering
  • Actief bijdragen aan productkennis, standaardisatie en interne verbeterprojecten
  • Registreren en beheren van offertes, producten en marktinformatie in ons ERP-systeem (Odoo)

Wie ben jij?

  • Je hebt een masterdiploma, bij voorkeur als burgerlijk- of industrieel ingenieur.
  • Je hebt sterke technische achtergrond
  • Je beheerst uitstekend de Nederlandse en Engelse taal
  • Je hebt interesse in procesindustrie en technische toepassingen
  • Je kan complexe materie helder en overtuigend uitleggen
  • Je denkt oplossingsgericht en combineert analyse met pragmatisme
  • Je werkt gestructureerd en bewaart overzicht over meerdere dossiers
  • Je bent proactief, leergierig en wil jezelf inhoudelijk blijven ontwikkelen
  • Je werkt graag samen met sales, engineering en service

Extra pluspunten

  • Ervaring met slurry-toepassingen, pompen of rotating equipment
  • Kennis van sizing-procedures en technische configuraties
  • Ervaring met ERP-systemen (bv. Odoo)
  • Affiniteit met commerciële trajecten
  • Kennis van Frans en/of Duits
