Position Summary
Ensures the workflow of the clinical area and directs clinical staff according to provide excellent patient care with direction from Physicians and/or APP. May be responsible to maintain appropriate logs and licensing for laboratory, CLIA, vaccines and medication under regulatory guidelines. Responsible for storage and inventory of all clinical supplies. Maintains a close working relationship with physicians, advanced practice providers, Medical Director, and Management. Provides direct patient care in a courteous, caring, and respective manner. Documents accurately in EMR system according to licensure and VMG policy and procedures.
Education
Completion of formal coursework that is equivalent to a minimum of an Associate's Degree in Nursing. Combination of equivalent years of relevant work experience and some formal education may be considered. BSN Preferred
Experience
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a clinic or outpatient setting. Also, demonstrates understanding of the operations in a medical practice environment preferred.
Skills
Current and valid New Jersey RN. Current and valid BCLS certification required. Ability to use effective critical thinking skills (analytical, clinical reasoning, decision-making, problem-solving, time management, etc.). Outstanding interpersonal, service excellence behavior and customer service skills required. Strong orientation towards the provisions of high quality, cost effective and comprehensive medical care. Ability to use effective organizational and time management skills to set priorities and respond quickly to urgent/emergent situations. Strong communication both oral and written and presentation skills to convey information in a clear and concise manner to persons of varied age groups, customers, and/or groups. Ability to create, maintain and support a high functioning team; establish and foster cooperative working relationships with staff and management; and function effectively as part of that team. Demonstrates behavior that is courteous, caring, respectful, and compassionate at all times. Demonstrates ability to listen and respond in a non-judgmental manner, with clear expectations. Demonstrates behavior that is consistent with the Valley Health System's Behavioral Standards, as well as the Mission and Vision Statements. Knowledge of computer and software applications (Microsoft Office--Word, Excel, PowerPoint, EMR). Position may require rotating to other VMG locations from time to time when necessary.

Pay Range: $43.35 - $54.19 (per hour)
