In this role, you will serve as a technical expert for fluidized bed boiler and gasification as well as auxiliary systems and process engineering. Balance of Plant are more often included in our deliveries and therefore valuable knowledge.

In the sales phase, you will collaborate with the team to define technical concepts, assess the capacities of the main equipment, design process systems, and prepare comprehensive technical proposal documentation.

During project delivery, you will continue the process engineering activities by closely coordinating with customers, sub-suppliers, and other disciplines.

Your main tasks and focus areas are:

  • Performing calculations
  • Preparing technical specifications for equipment inquiries
  • Conducting design work
  • Leading hazard and risk analyses
  • Providing theoretical training to the customer’s operators
  • Providing support to the commissioning team during site activities
  • Managing communication and documentation
  • 25% site work or travel

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar manufacturing business or supplier.
  • This position is located in Charlotte, NC. Please be living in that region or open to relocating there.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. This position is NOT open to immigration sponsorship.
