Voor Van der Valk Hotel Arnhem zoeken wij een gedreven en ervaren Front Office Manager (fulltime) die gastvrijheid en service naar een hoger niveau tilt.

Zit het begeleiden, stimuleren en coachen van medewerkers in jouw bloed en ben je ook nog commercieel ingesteld? Dan zijn wij op zoek naar jou.

Jij komt als Front Office Manager te werken in een dynamische omgeving waar gastbeleving centraal staat. Door jouw inzet en gastvrijheid bied jij samen met jouw Front Office Team onze gasten een onvergetelijke thuis van huis ervaring in ons hotel.

Wat ga je doen?

  • Leidinggeven aan het receptieteam en de dagelijkse werkzaamheden coördineren.
  • Alle voorkomende werkzaamheden van de Front Office verrichten
  • Het prijsbeleid en het hotelsysteem IDPMS beheren en bewaken, in samenwerking met collega’s.
  • Reserveringen via online boekingskanalen bijhouden.
  • Facturen controleren en overige administratieve handelingen.
  • Betalingen en financiële gegevens controleren.
  • De service aan gasten verbeteren en werkprocessen efficiënter maken.
  • Communiceren van relevante werkzaamheden met andere afdelingen, zoals housekeeping, de keuken en het restaurant.
  • Ontvangen en op correcte wijze afhandelen van de feedback van onze gasten.
  • Nieuwe medewerkers en stagiaires inwerken en begeleiden.
  • Verantwoordelijk voor personeelsbeleid op jouw afdeling (roosters, sollicitaties, functioneren & beoordelen, verlof etc.)
  • Deelnemen en input leveren aan wekelijks MT overleg en Marketing & Sales overleg

Vereisten

Wie zoeken wij:

  • Jij bent representatief, enthousiast en hebt minimaal 2 jaar ervaring als Front Office Manager in een hotel
  • Jij bent in het bezit van een relevant HBO-diploma
  • Jij beheerst de Nederlandse, Engelse en Duitse taal uitstekend, zowel mondeling als schriftelijk
  • Jij bent flexibel, stressbestendig & oplossingsgericht en durft verantwoordelijkheid te nemen
  • Jij hebt leidinggevende kwaliteiten en bij voorkeur een leermeester diploma
  • Jij bent in het bezit van eigen vervoer en hebt geen probleem met werken in weekenden en op feestdagen
  • Jij hebt uitgebreide kennis van hotel reserveringssystemen (bij voorkeur Shiji) en het MS Office pakket
  • Jij hebt ervaring met hotel revenue systemen
