Ben jij een ervaren hospitalityprofessional die graag een groot F&B-team aanstuurt, processen verbetert en de gastbeleving verder ontwikkelt? Van der Valk Hotel Venlo zoekt een Assistent F&B Director die samen met onze F&B Director, Bert de Win, de afdeling verder uitbouwt.

Wat ga je doen?

De operatie in cijfers

Je werkt in een hotel met een veelzijdige hospitality operatie:

  • 168 hotelkamers;
  • een a la carte restaurant, buffet restaurant en hotelbar;
  • uitgebreide ontbijt-, lunch- en diner mogelijkheden, met een gemiddelde van 150 couverts op een avond;
  • grote banqueting capaciteit, inclusief vergader- en congresfaciliteiten.

Jouw rol

Als Assistent F&B Director ben jij de rechterhand van onze F&B Director en verantwoordelijk voor het reilen en zeilen van de operationele organisatie. Je houdt overzicht, neemt beslissingen en zorgt dat het team optimaal presteert.

Jouw taken bestaan onder andere uit:

  • Leidinggeven aan en coachen van restaurantmanagers en hun teams;
  • Het bewaken van kwaliteit, service en gastbeleving in alle outlets;
  • Plannen, organiseren en bijsturen van F&B-activiteiten en evenementen;
  • Het opstellen, analyseren en bewaken van roosters, budgetten en KPI’s;
  • Initiëren en implementeren van verbeteringen en nieuwe F&B-concepten;
  • Operationele verantwoordelijkheid nemen wanneer de F&B Director afwezig is.

Wat zouden we graag zien?

  • Minimaal 2-3 jaar ervaring in een leidinggevende F&B-rol binnen de horeca;
  • Sterke organisatorische en communicatieve vaardigheden;
  • Een resultaatgerichte instelling met oog voor details én gastbeleving;
  • Besluitvaardigheid en rust, ook tijdens piekmomenten;
  • Passie voor het coachen, ontwikkelen en motiveren van teams;
  • Beschikbaarheid voor minimaal 38 uur per week.
