Ballistix.digital (part of the Vandelanotte group) werd opgericht door drie West-Vlamingen, allen op één of andere manier aangespoeld in Gent. We zijn een team van 6, maar willen graag groeien op alle vlakken. Sinds kort maken we ook deel uit van de Vandelanotte-groep. We varen onze eigen koers, maar met de ruggenwind van een grote groep die ons stabiliteit en groeimogelijkheden biedt.

We zijn een gezonde mix van karakters, elk met onze eigen interesses zoals gamen, D&D en crypto. Over de middag kan het ook gaan over lekker eten, reizen, fietsen of verbouwen. Ons geeky kantje is wat ons met elkaar verbindt. De combinatie van mensen maakt ons bedrijf, en die mensen staan ook voor een aantal waarden:

  • Klantenservice: onze klanten staan centraal, we proberen hen altijd snel en op maat te helpen, zonder dat afspraken met andere klanten hierdoor in het gedrang komen
  • Pragmatiek: we staan open voor veranderingen en gaan daar flexibel mee om, de oplossing die werkt is de beste oplossing
  • Respect: er heerst een open cultuur waar feedback en discussie leiden tot groei, in een professionele safe haven, respect voor elkaar is niet onderhandelbaar

Wij zoeken een Back-end Developer om mee te werken aan de bedrijfsapplicaties die we ontwikkelen voor gepassioneerde klanten die kampen met uitdagingen rond planning, rapportering en complexe berekeningen.

Mijn job bij Ballistix.digital bestaat uit:

  • bouwen en onderhouden van zowel nieuwe als ‘oude’ user interfaces
  • brandjes blussen en daaronder enigszins rustig blijven
  • het mee opleiden van developers met minder ervaring
  • aansturen van één of meerdere collega’s, indien je daarvoor openstaat

Even afchecken

  • Je hebt minstens 2 to 5 jaar ervaring in node.js
  • Je hebt vooral veel goesting, in de rest kan je groeien
  • Je kan iets vertellen over zaken zoals Typescript, NestJs of ExpressJS, Docker, zaken die eindigen op -SQL (PostegreSQL, NoSQL, …), CI/CDpipelines, RESTful API’s, Swagger, Github / Gitlab, …
  • Je hebt interesse in automated testing (performance, functioneel, …)
  • Je hebt ook interesse in data architectuur en data warehousing
  • Je wil graag een probleem oplossen, maar kan ook hulp kan vragen als je vastzit
  • Je bent pragmatiek en kan ideologie afwisselen
