Your mission

Stahl ist eine der ältesten und größten Industrien der Welt - und trotzdem wird er noch immer über Telefonate und Excel-Tabellen gehandelt. Das ändern wir, und dafür suchen wir eine:n erfahrene:n Trader:in, die:der mit uns den DACH-Markt übernimmt.

Das hier ist kein SDR-Job und kein Cold-Calling-Grind. Ab dem ersten Tag verantwortest du deine Deals von Anfang bis Ende: Du akquirierst sie, verhandelst auf beiden Seiten, schließt ab und begleitest sie durch die Abwicklung. Du führst den größten Stahlmarkt Europas als dein eigenes Buch - remote, mit echter Eigenverantwortung und echtem Upside bei jedem Deal, den du abschließt. Wenn du weißt, wie Stahlhandel funktioniert, und der Deal selbst dein Antrieb ist, dann ist das dein Platz.

Was du verantwortest

  • Du baust das Handels- und Brokerage-Geschäft von Vanilla Steel in der DACH-Region aus - es gehört dir
  • Du bist die zentrale Ansprechperson für deutschsprachige Lieferanten und Käufer und die Vertrauensbasis dieser Beziehungen
  • Du akquirierst, verhandelst und schließt profitable Deals ab und arbeitest dabei eng mit dem Operations-Team zusammen, um sie sauber abzuwickeln
  • Du arbeitest mit Account Managern in anderen Regionen zusammen, um grenzüberschreitende Deals abzuschließen, die keine der beiden Seiten allein landen könnte
  • Du gewinnst und eröffnest neue Accounts, wenn der Markt ruhiger wird
  • Du bringst Marktkenntnis und ein gutes Gespür für Preise ins Team zurück

Your profile

  • Du hast Stahl (oder eine vergleichbare Industrie-Commodity) gehandelt und kannst uns durch echte Deals führen, die du verantwortet hast - Sourcing, Marge, Verhandlung, die Erfolge und die, die schiefgelaufen sind
  • Der Instinkt eines Traders: Du spürst den Deal, du schützt die Marge, du weißt, wann du nachlegen und wann du gehen musst
  • Der Antrieb, Ziele zu erreichen, und die Eigenverantwortung, das ohne tägliche Führung zu tun
  • Du blühst beim eigenständigen, remoten Arbeiten auf - Struktur kommt von dir, nicht aus einem Playbook
  • Deutsch auf Muttersprachniveau, fließendes Englisch - beides ist nicht verhandelbar
  • Sicher im Umgang mit digitalen Tools zur Abwicklung deiner Deals
