Strategic Finance
The Strategic Finance team partners with Development, Delivery, Commercial, Legal, and Capital Markets to underwrite, monitor, and protect the economics of Vantage's data center investments across North America. The team supports investment decisions, budgeting and forecasting, capital planning, and executive reporting, while connecting customer commitments with the investment returns approved by leadership.
Position Overview
This role is based in Denver, CO or Ashburn, VA in alignment with our flexible work policy. (3 days on site required, 2 days flexible).
Large AI customers represent some of Vantage's most significant capital commitments and strategically important relationships. The Manager, Large AI Sites will serve as the central point of coordination for the commercial and economic management of these accounts. This role will align internal teams and customers on development budgets, rental rates, and project economics; coordinate review and approval of key financial decisions; and maintain complete, accurate customer economic documentation. Working across Development, Delivery, Finance, Legal, and Commercial, the Manager will help protect development yields and approved investment returns, reduce commercial and execution risk, and provide leadership with clear visibility into the economics of Vantage's largest deployments.

Essential Job Functions
- Serve as the central commercial and economic point of coordination for large AI customer accounts.
- Maintain alignment with customers regarding development budgets, project economics, and key financial assumptions.
- Coordinate internal review and approval of rental rates, capitalized costs, and performance against approved budgets.
- Track changes to project economics throughout the development lifecycle and ensure updates are communicated to relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain a complete repository of customer-facing economic documentation, approvals, deal summaries, financial analyses, and contractual support materials.
- Partner with Development, Delivery, Finance, Legal, and Commercial teams to align contractual commitments with approved project economics.
- Provide executive management with clear visibility into customer economics, budget variances, financial risks, and commercial decision points.
- Establish and reinforce governance and documentation standards across large AI customer engagements.
- Reduce execution risk by ensuring key customer commitments are documented, reviewed, and approved.
- Manage competing priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Real Estate, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; MBA or CFA preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in finance, private equity, investment banking, consulting, commercial real estate investment, or asset management.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency, including financial modeling and analysis.
- Familiarity with commercial real estate leases and key economic terms.
- Experience with development budgets, project economics, or investment underwriting preferred.
- Experience in data centers, digital infrastructure, or large-scale development is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills, disciplined documentation practices, and exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present to executive management and engage directly with customers.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and drive decisions to closure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word; familiarity with Power BI and Yardi is a plus.
- Ability to travel up to 10%, with the possibility of increased travel as business needs evolve.

Additional Details
- Salary Range: $125,000-135,000 base salary plus bonus. This range is based on Colorado market data and may vary by location.
- This position is eligible for company benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage; life and AD&D insurance; short- and long-term disability coverage; paid time off; employee assistance; participation in a 401(k) program with company match; and additional voluntary benefits.
- Compensation will depend on qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience and may fall outside the range shown.
