Projectwerking Eetbare Buurt

Met Velt geven we professionele ondersteuning aan partners die een eetbare buurt willen opstarten. Of het nu gaat om een lokaal bestuur dat een geboortevoedselbos wil aanleggen zoals Knokke-Heist of om een zorginstelling zoals Mozaiek die met behulp van een buurtmoestuin de buurt bij haar werking wil betrekken, Velt geeft samen met hen en de buurt het project vorm. Van een technische terreinanalyse, over begeleiding van een cocreatief ontwerp en de aanleg ervan, tot praktijkbegeleiding om de groep de ecologische basiskennis bij te brengen.

Deze ondersteuning bieden we met onze ploeg Eetbare Buurt, die uit een zestal medewerkers bestaat. Voor deze enthousiaste ploeg zoeken we vandaag versterking.

Ben jij onze gedroomde nieuwe projectmedewerker?

  • Gaat je hart sneller slaan van alles wat groen en eetbaar is? En vind je het nóg fijner om ook anderen enthousiast te maken om hiermee aan de slag te gaan in een nieuwe samentuin, een eetbare belevingstuin of een buurtvoedselbos?
  • Haal jij er voldoening uit om de dromen van een groep mensen te vertalen naar een technisch perfect ontwerp dat rekening houdt met bodem, omgeving en beheeraspecten?
  • Maak je met plezier de handen vuil op het terrein en ondersteun je de initiatiefnemers – van de bestelling van plantgoed tot de keuze van de meest geschikte infrastructuur?

Heb je daarnaast ook een solide technische kennis van en ervaring met het ecologisch telen van groenten, fruit en al het meerjarig eetbaars, en ben je thuis in bodemkunde? Dan ben jij ongetwijfeld onze gedroomde medewerker!

De kers op de taart? Ervaring met het ondersteunen van groepen bij de opstart van een samenproject, zowel op het vlak van cocreatieve processen en groepsvorming als van technisch ontwerp.

Je kennis en ervaring

  • Je bent vertrouwd met thema’s als milieu, klimaat en ecologie.
  • Je hebt minimaal 5 jaar praktijkervaring met het zelf ecologisch telen van groenten, fruit of ander eetbaars op ecologische wijze.
  • Je hebt minimaal 8 jaar werkervaring, o.a. met werken in projectverband.
  • Je hebt theoretische kennis door je bachelor- of masterdiploma in een richting die aansluit bij voedselproductie (bio-ingenieur, biowetenschappen, biologie, landbouw).
  • Je hebt ervaring in het begeleiden van groepen.

Je bent bereid om

  • heel regelmatig ’s avonds of in het weekend te werken
  • projecten te begeleiden in de provincies West- en Oost-Vlaanderen en Vlaams-Brabant.
