Senior Accountant - Tax - AUS

The Role

  • Australian Tax exposure
  • Preparation and review of BAS and IAS
  • Manage ASIC (Australian Securities and Investments Commission) portal tasks
  • Preparation of Financial Statements for Companies and Trusts.
  • Prepare work papers for businesses, individuals and clients to support tax lodgment.
  • Prepare income tax returns for individuals, companies and trusts in Access tax software
  • Calculate Division 7A loan interest in accordance with ATO guidelines.
  • Calculate depreciation using current ATO rules and methods.
  • Lodge quarterly superannuation and SGC statements within statutory deadlines.
  • Create and manage jobs with Xero Practice Manager (XPM).
  • Respond to ATO correspondence.
  • Assisting in tax planning
  • Perform bookkeeping tasks, including monthly bank reconciliations, general ledger reconciliations, and payroll updates.
  • Prepare new share issue documents, Company incorporation documents, ASIC review letters, & Solvency minutes will be an added advantage.

  • Good in Excel
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
