What you would be taking on

You would build and fix Salesforce, the center of our business systems. You would also support the other applications Veradigm uses to run its business, from billing and contracts to sales and customer success. Our team is small, so you would work across all of them and learn each one where the need is.

This senior role is based in the United States.

About the team

We are a small team in Business Systems at Veradigm. Veradigm serves physician practices, health plans and life sciences companies with software and data. We keep its Salesforce systems running and build what comes next. We support services projects on Kantata SX, quotes and contracts on Salesforce CPQ, and billing in Zuora. We also support customer cases on Service Cloud, portals on Experience Cloud, and the sales and marketing applications. Boomi connects the systems. Much of it predates the current team. We work across all of it. Nobody is tied to one product. Later we may add Service Cloud Voice, Agentforce or Revenue Cloud Advanced. So we look for people who adapt.

What you will do

  • Build and enhance Salesforce with Apex, Lightning Web Components and Flow.
  • Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and connected systems, such as Zuora, Kantata and LEAH, using Boomi and APIs.
  • Configure and support the applications that connect to Salesforce, and learn new ones as the work requires.
  • Take designs from requirements to production and document the tradeoffs for architecture review.
  • Troubleshoot production issues across connected systems.
  • Plan releases and follow change management and audit requirements.
  • Review code and mentor other developers.

What we need

All of these are required.

  • You have 4+ years of hands-on Salesforce development, including Apex, Lightning Web Components and Flow in production.
  • You have 2 or more years building and supporting integrations between Salesforce and other systems, using APIs or middleware such as Boomi or MuleSoft.
  • You have worked on an internal business systems or IT team that supports Salesforce and the applications connected to it.
  • You have deployed Salesforce changes through source control, such as Git, and a deployment tool, such as Gearset, Copado or Salesforce DX.
  • You have supported Salesforce in production, including troubleshooting, release planning and change management.
  • You are willing to learn new applications where the team needs you.
  • You can explain a design and its tradeoffs to business leaders and developers.
  • You have a bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or a related field, or equivalent experience.

What helps

  • Experience with applications that connect to Salesforce, such as Zuora, Kantata SX, LEAH (ContractPodAI), Gainsight, Outreach, Gong, Marketing Cloud or Calendly.
  • Platform Developer I or II certification.
  • Healthcare or another regulated industry.
  • Use of AI tools in development work.

How we work

You would work with business leaders across sales, finance, services and customer success. We keep our code in GitHub, deploy with Gearset and review every change. We use AI agents, currently Claude, to analyze, design, build, debug and troubleshoot. You would work with them and own what they produce, within company AI usage policies.

Compensation Range:

$102,269-$142,155
