Ben jij een veelzijdige elektronicus die het volledige spectrum beheerst: van PCB-ontwerp en embedded firmware tot geautomatiseerde testomgevingen met NI TestStand? Wil je meebouwen aan de meest geavanceerde test- en automatiseringssystemen voor toonaangevende spelers in o.a. de automotive en industriële sector?

Voor onze klant in Brugge - een wereldspeler op het vlak van productie- en testengineering - zoeken we een gedreven Electronic Test Application Engineer. In deze rol krijg je de integrale verantwoordelijkheid over het ontwerp, de realisatie, de softwarematige aansturing en de oplevering van klantspecifieke testapplicaties.

Jouw Uitdaging & Impact

Als Test Application Engineer zet je klant-specificaties om naar robuuste, kant-en-klare testopstellingen en testfuncties:

  • Hardware & PCB Design: Je ontwerpt de elektrische schema's en ontwikkelt klantspecifieke PCB’s (o.a. in Altium Designer) op basis van standaardmodules en marktoplossingen.
  • Embedded Software Development: Je schrijft en optimaliseert firmware in C voor microcontrollers (zoals Nordic nRF52, NXP LPC, etc.) en implementeert industriële communicatieprotocollen (zoals CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Modbus).
  • Test-Automation & Software: Je bouwt geautomatiseerde testsequenties op in NI TestStand, schrijft applicaties en drivers in C# / C++ en staat in voor het debuggen van de volledige testapplicatie.
  • Multidisciplinaire Realisatie: Je werkt nauw samen met de Mechanical Engineer voor de mechanische integratie en begeleidt de werkplaats bij de fysieke opbouw en bedrading.
  • Module-ontwikkeling & R&D: Je ontwerpt herbruikbare standaardmodules (zowel hardware/PCB's als embedded software) voor toekomstige projecten.
  • Inbedrijfstelling & Support: Je staat in voor de finale verificatie, inbedrijfstelling en oplevering van het testsysteem – zowel lokaal als op locatie bij de klant (binnen- en buitenland) – en verzorgt de nodige training.
  • Voorstudies: Je ondersteunt bij het opstellen van technische voorontwerpen en offertes voor nieuwe klantvragen.

Jouw Profiel

  • Opleiding: Master/Industrieel Ingenieur Elektronica, Elektromechanica, ICT of gelijkwaardig door ervaring.
  • Brede Hardware- & PCB-kennis: Praktische ervaring met het ontwerpen van elektrische schema's en PCB-lay-out (bijv. Altium).
  • Embedded & Software Skills: Uitstekende kennis van C voor microcontrollers en ervaring met talen/omgevingen zoals C#, C++, Python en NI TestStand. Kennis van VHDL of TestStand/CVI is een sterke troef.
  • Protocolkennis: Affiniteit met industriële/automotive communicatieprotocollen zoals CAN, LIN of Modbus.
  • Hands-on & Zelfstandig: Analytisch, creatief in probleemoplossing en praktisch ingesteld om het proces van schema tot werkende machinesturing te trekken.
  • Talen & Mobiliteit: Vloeiend in het Nederlands en Engels. Bereid tot beperkte verplaatsingen naar klanten in het binnen- en buitenland.
