Als Technical Specialist – Optics & Precision Mechanics ben je de sleutelfiguur in het nauwkeurig samenbouwen, afregelen en kalibreren van geavanceerde optische en laseraangedreven hardwarelijnen. Je bent niet verantwoordelijk voor het conceptueel ontwerpen van systemen, maar bent dé expert op de werkvloer voor het fysiek integreren en fijnregelen van optische en mechatronische componenten op sub-micrometerniveau.

In deze rol werk je nauw samen met R&D, productie en internationale serviceteams. Je bouwt complexe optische testopstellingen, valideert nieuwe prototypes op de werkvloer en geeft direct technisch advies om de hardware en assemblageprocessen continu te verbeteren. Daarnaast bied je gespecialiseerde 2de-lijns ondersteuning bij complexe technische vraagstukken.

Jouw Verantwoordelijkheden:

  • Optische Integratie & Assemblage: Het monteren, afregelen en optimaliseren van lenzen, spiegels, leds en hoog/laag-vermogen fiberlasers in de hardwarelijnen.
  • Sub-Micron Mechanische Kalibratie: Feilloos uitlijnen en kalibreren van mechanische en optische componenten met een extreem hoge precisie tot op sub-micrometerniveau.
  • Testing, Prototyping & Advies: Opzetten van nauwkeurige optische testopstellingen, valideren van prototypes en het geven van concreet technisch advies ter verbetering van de bouw- en productiemethodes.
  • Cross-functionele Afstemming: Nauw samenwerken met R&D, elektronica-, software- en firmwareteams om de functionaliteit en kwaliteit van de hardware op de werkvloer te verhogen.
  • 2de-Lijns Technical Support: Bieden van expert-level technische ondersteuning en remote/on-site troubleshooting bij ingewikkelde storingen op klantlocaties wereldwijd.

Jouw Profiel:

  • Opleiding & Ervaring: Bachelor of Master in Fijnmechanica, Mechatronica, Optica, Elektronica of Elektromechanica, aangevuld met relevante ervaring in een hoogtechnologische productie- of assemblage-omgeving.
  • Kennis van Optica & Lasers: Praktische ervaring met het hanteren, monteren en uitlijnen van laserbronnen, lenzen en optische banen.
  • Gepassioneerd door Precisie: Analytisch, geduldig en extreem nauwkeurig in het werken met sub-micron toleranties en fijnmechanische opstellingen.
  • Hands-on & Verbetergericht: Pragmatisch ingesteld; je werkt graag fysiek aan machines, bouwt testopstellingen en denkt proactief mee over proces- en kwaliteitsverbeteringen vanop de werkvloer.
  • Talen: Goede kennis van het Nederlands en Engels.
