Jouw uitdaging

Als Embedded Software Ingenieur in hart en nieren duik je vol passie in het analyseren, architecturen, coderen en testen van hoogwaardige embedded oplossingen. Je bent de drijvende kracht binnen multidisciplinaire projectteams en brengt software tot leven op de meest diverse hardwareplatformen.

  • Systeemarchitectuur & Analyse: Je vertaalt complexe klantbehoeften naar een doordacht software-ontwerp en stelt de nodige analyses en documentatie op.
  • Hands-on Development: Je schrijft gestructureerde, robuuste en schaalbare code (C/C++) voor microprocessors (CPU/MCU) en moderne hardware.
  • Adviseren & Sturen: Je adviseert het projectteam en de klant over de juiste ontwikkelmethodologieën, software-architectuur, tools en hardware-interactie.
  • Kwaliteit & Automation: Je zet in op grondige testen, gestructureerde code reviews en moderne CI/CD-pipelines om de hoogste kwaliteit te garanderen.
  • Samenwerking & Coaching: Je werkt nauw samen met hardware designers, applicatie-ontwikkelaars en projectmanagers. Waar nodig inspireer en coach je junior collega’s.

Jouw profiel

Je bent een gedreven technoloog met een passie voor innovatie, een scherp oog voor detail en de drive om grenzen te verleggen.

  • Opleiding: Master in de Ingenieurswetenschappen / Industriële Wetenschappen (ICT, Computerwetenschappen, Elektronica) of gelijkwaardig door aantoonbaar niveau.
  • Ervaring: Minstens 5 jaar relevante professionele ervaring in embedded software development is een absolute vereiste.
  • Tech Stack:Uitstekende, diepgaande kennis van C en C++. Grondige ervaring met RTOS (bijv. FreeRTOS, SafeRTOS) en platformen zoals ESP32. Vertrouwd met moderne CI/CD pipelines en software-analyse/methodologieën.
  • Hardware Feeling: Basiskennis van digitale hardware, microprocessoren en bussen (SPI, I2C, CAN, UART...) is een grote plus. Kennis van VHDL of Python is mooi meegenomen.
  • Soft Skills: Een open geest, sterke communicatieve vaardigheden, een proactieve houding en een echte oplossingsgerichte instelling.
  • Talen & Werkergunning: Vloeiend in het Engels (Nederlands is een grote troef). EU-staatsburgerschap of een geldige werkvergunning voor België is vereist.
