Job Function: ERP System Administrators manage the ERP system and process by leading and analyzing key process improvements, collaborating with stakeholders to identify and roll out improvements within the scope of the ERP systems to facilitate business operations. ERP Administrators ensure the system and process is producing efficient results within the company by monitoring the system performance, implementing software upgrades and troubleshooting issues that may arise in a timely and professional manner. An ERP administrator is also a liaison between functional process owners and the pure technical resources such as system external consultants and Finance leadership team. This position requires advanced learning, consistent use of independent judgment and discretion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the platform: Serve as the lead administrator and subject-matter expert for Salesforce. Oversee security, sharing, profiles, permission sets, and org-wide configuration • Set the roadmap: Partner with business leaders to prioritize enhancements, build a Salesforce roadmap, and balance quick wins with long-term scalability • Design solutions: Turn complex business requirements into well-designed solutions using custom objects, Flow, approval processes, validation rules, and Lightning pages. Know when a need calls for development or an AppExchange solution rather than configuration • Support the PSO lifecycle: Configure and optimize the full professional services lifecycle, from opportunity to project, resource request, assignment, timecard, approval, and invoice. This includes the timecard submission and approval process used by consultants and client-side approvers • Administer Certinia: Support Certinia PSA and related modules (projects, milestones, resource management, timecards, expenses, billing events). Keep them aligned with Finance and Resource Management processes • Govern changes: Establish and enforce standards for change management, naming conventions, documentation, sandbox strategy, and release management • Govern data: Lead data quality, deduplication, migrations, and integrity initiatives. Manage large-volume data operations with Data Loader or similar tools • Report and analyze: Build executive-level reports and dashboards covering pipeline, utilization, bench, backlog, project margin, and billing • Manage integrations and vendors: Coordinate integrations (Microsoft 365, e-signature, ERP and finance systems) with IT and implementation partners. Evaluate and administer AppExchange packages • Mentor and train: Mentor junior administrators and power users. Lead user training and adoption efforts, and serve as the top escalation point for Salesforce support • Stay current: Assess Salesforce and Certinia releases, then recommend and roll out new features that add business value

Qualifications:

Required Skills: • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent • 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce administration experience, including ownership of a complex, multi-department organization • An active Salesforce certification (e.g., Platform Administrator, Advanced Administrator, or Platform App Builder) • Expert-level knowledge of Flow, security and sharing models, reports and dashboards, and data management tools • Proven experience leading requirements gathering, solution design, and releases from start to finish • Strong communication skills, including the ability to influence stakeholders and explain technical tradeoffs to non-technical leaders • Ability to thoroughly document requirements, conceptual design, and end-to-end processes • Essential project management skills, including project planning and tracking principles; project risk and issues identification, assessment, tracking, and mitigation

Required Abilities: • Demonstrated capability to deliver on the responsibilities listed above • Ability to ramp-up quickly and be productive by understanding the existing ERP implementation and current business process around installed applications/modules • Ability to adapt to change easily • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail • Ability to take initiative to complete projects, tasks and assignments • Ability to apply Verista values in your work situations

Preferred Skills: • Experience with Certinia (formerly FinancialForce), especially PSA, resource management, timecards, and billing • Experience supporting a professional services organization, such as a consulting, staffing, engineering services, or project-based business • Experience with Tableau (including Tableau CRM / CRM Analytics), such as building dashboards and connecting Salesforce data for executive reporting • Experience with AI integrations, such as Salesforce Agentforce, Einstein features, or connecting Salesforce to third-party AI tools and large language models to automate workflows and surface insights • Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, or Certinia certifications • Exposure to life sciences or other regulated industries • Familiarity with integrations (REST APIs, middleware) and working knowledge of Apex or LWC

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
