We're looking for a Press Brake Fabricator to join our sheet metal fabrication team. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys working with metal, operating equipment, reading blueprints, and producing quality parts.

As a Press Brake Fabricator, you'll take flat sheets of metal and transform them into precision components used in finished products. You'll work with different materials, thicknesses, tooling, and part configurations while learning and developing valuable fabrication skills.

  • Set up the press brake with the appropriate tooling for each job.
  • Position and align material accurately in the machine.
  • Adjust machine settings to achieve the required bend angle and dimensions.
  • Measure finished parts using calipers, angle gauges, tape measures, and other inspection equipment.
  • Perform first-piece and in-process inspections to ensure parts meet specifications.
  • Identify and correct issues with dimensions, angles, tooling, or material positioning.
  • Handle a variety of sheet metal materials, thicknesses, and part sizes.
  • Maintain accurate production and quality documentation.
  • Follow established safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Work with Production, Quality, Engineering, and other team members to resolve issues and keep production moving.
  • Cross-train on additional fabrication equipment and processes as opportunities arise.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is hands-on, dependable, mechanically inclined, and takes pride in producing quality work.

Preferred Experience

  • Previous press brake or sheet metal fabrication experience preferred.
  • Experience reading blueprints or technical drawings.
  • Experience using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, or angle gauges.
  • Mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand how machine adjustments affect finished parts.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn new equipment and manufacturing processes.

Your Experience May Transfer If You Have Worked In:

  • Machine operation
  • Punch press
  • Laser cutting
  • Machining
  • Tool and die

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and move throughout the workday.
  • Ability to safely handle and position sheet metal and fabricated components.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials as required.
  • Ability to work safely around manufacturing equipment and machinery.
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with typical noise and material-handling activities.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
