Chez Vertuoza, on construit bien plus qu’un logiciel. On aide les entrepreneurs du bâtiment à travailler plus sereinement, à mieux piloter leur business et à réussir. Et pour continuer à accélérer, on cherche Senior Data & ML Engineer

🧑🏻‍💻 Le contexte

Vertuoza dispose de beaucoup de données issues de milliers d'entreprises du bâtiment (devis, prestations, matériaux, prix, chantiers, localisations). L'objectif est de s'en servir pour créer des fonctionnalités prédictives. Le poste consiste à construire de zéro la fondation data et ML.

Les missions :

  1. Fondation data : construire des pipelines fiables, reproductibles et observables (collecte, nettoyage, normalisation de données hétérogènes, choix de la granularité, datasets prêts pour le ML).
  2. Normalisation métier : faire comprendre que « Chaudière Vaillant gaz 8.5 kW » et « Installation chauffage gaz 8500 W » désignent presque la même chose. Cela passe par la classification, l'extraction de caractéristiques, le regroupement de données similaires et la construction d'une taxonomie, en combinant règles, statistiques, embeddings, LLMs et ML classique.
  3. Prix et tendances (1er cas d'usage) : suivre l'évolution des prix par prestation et par région, établir des prix de référence et recommander des fourchettes. Tout l'enjeu est de trouver le bon équilibre entre précision et granularité.
  4. Rayon d'action géographique (2e cas d'usage) : prédire jusqu'où une entreprise peut raisonnablement travailler, à partir de son métier, de sa localisation, des distances, des montants et de ses taux de conversion.
  5. ML en production : du feature engineering jusqu'au déploiement, avec monitoring, gestion de la dérive et amélioration continue. Le travail ne s'arrête pas aux notebooks.
  6. Collaboration avec les équipes AI, Product et Engineering pour trancher des questions concrètes : quelles données sont fiables, quel volume minimum faut-il, quel niveau de confiance accorder, et quand choisir le ML, un LLM ou une simple règle.

✨ Profil recherché

  • Indispensable : expérience senior en Data et/ou ML Engineering, très bon niveau en Python et SQL, pipelines et modèles déjà mis en production, habitude des données réelles et imparfaites, maîtrise des fondamentaux du ML, connaissance de la data quality et de l'observabilité, à l'aise avec le cloud (GCP est un plus).
  • Atouts : NLP, embeddings et semantic matching, LLMs pour structurer des données, entity resolution, séries temporelles, géospatial, clustering et taxonomies, pricing.
  • Soft skills : intérêt pour la réalité métier, pragmatisme, autonomie, capacité à prendre en charge des problèmes peu structurés et à communiquer aussi bien avec la tech qu'avec le produit, aisance dans un environnement de scale-up.
