Who You Are

As a Senior Account Manager, Demand, you will own a portfolio of strategic demand partners, including DSPs and other programmatic buyers, and be responsible for both the relationship and performance of those accounts. You will serve as the primary point of contact for your partners, managing day-to-day relationships while also digging into the data, auction mechanics, integrations, and technical opportunities that drive performance. This role requires someone who can move comfortably between a partner strategy conversation, a QBR, a revenue analysis, and troubleshooting a bidstream or integration issue. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, Marketplace Quality, Publisher, Finance, and other internal teams to improve integrations, solve performance issues, identify growth opportunities, and ensure partners receive best-in-class service. The ideal candidate has strong programmatic experience, is commercially minded, technically curious, highly analytical, and comfortable independently owning complex partner relationships.

What You Will Do

  • Own the day-to-day relationship, performance, and growth strategy for a portfolio of strategic DSP and demand partners, building trust through regular communication, business reviews, and strategic planning
  • Understand each partner’s business goals, buying behavior, technical capabilities, and challenges to identify opportunities for growth
  • Analyze revenue, bidstream, and performance data against revenue and marketplace goals, and develop action plans when accounts are off track
  • Provide partners with actionable, data-driven recommendations to improve scale, efficiency, and overall marketplace performance
  • Troubleshoot issues throughout the programmatic auction lifecycle, including bid rate, win rate, discrepancies, IVT, signal loss, creative behavior, and inventory availability
  • Partner with Engineering and Product to diagnose integration issues, prioritize fixes, and improve partner connectivity and performance
  • Manage the rollout, testing, and post-launch optimization of new endpoints, integrations, features, signals, identity solutions, and marketplace initiatives, including A/B tests
  • Identify and execute revenue growth opportunities across formats, inventory types, geographies, and products within existing partnerships
  • Work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Marketplace Quality, Publisher, Finance, and Operations teams to resolve issues and drive partner success
  • Maintain a strong understanding of OpenRTB, auction mechanics, identity, privacy signals, supply paths, and the broader programmatic ecosystem
  • Act as a senior resource for the Demand team by troubleshooting complex partner and technical issues and documenting learnings, workflows, and best practices that scale

What We Will Need

Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in programmatic advertising, ad tech, account management, partner management, or a technical client-facing role
  • Experience directly managing DSPs, ad networks, programmatic buyers, or other demand-side relationships
  • Strong understanding of DSP/SSP dynamics, programmatic auctions, and the digital advertising ecosystem
  • Proven experience using data to identify performance issues, develop recommendations, and drive revenue growth

Core Skills

  • Strong relationship management skills with the ability to build credibility with both commercial and technical stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of OpenRTB, auction mechanics, CPM pricing, first-price auctions, and bid request/response flows
  • Advanced analytical skills and comfort working with large datasets, dashboards, and performance reporting
  • Ability to investigate and troubleshoot technical and marketplace performance issues
  • Strong commercial instincts and the ability to identify opportunities to grow existing partnerships
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate technical concepts into clear business recommendations
  • Ability to independently prioritize multiple partners, projects, and opportunities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive ownership mentality with the ability to identify problems and opportunities without waiting for direction
  • Strong cross-functional skills and experience working closely with Product, Engineering, Operations, Finance, and other internal teams

Nice to Have

  • Experience with analytics and troubleshooting platforms such as Looker, Kibana, Rill, or similar tools
  • Familiarity with SDK integrations, identity solutions, EIDs, privacy frameworks, and programmatic signal strategies
  • Working knowledge of APIs, JSON, sellers.json, ads.txt/app-ads.txt, schain, and OpenRTB bid request/response structures
  • Experience with CTV, mobile app, web, native, display, or video inventory
  • Experience conducting QBRs and presenting performance and strategic recommendations to senior partner stakeholders

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
