About Vesta: Vesta is revolutionizing energy renovation to combat climate change. We automate the sales and design of energy efficiency projects, helping professionals in the industry design and sell systems more efficiently. Our platform, integrated with over 70 brands of solar panels, heat pumps, and air conditioning systems, uses 3D data and AI to design the optimal system for every home and generate personalized commercial proposals. As a bootstrapped startup launched in November 2023, we already have over 100 company clients, 350 active users, and generate over €300,000 in ARR. Our small but passionate team is committed to making a positive impact on the planet by accelerating the energy transition.

Your Role: As the first software developer to join our team, you will have a direct impact on the future of Vesta. You will work closely with the founders to shape the company's technical vision and develop innovative solutions that will transform the energy renovation industry.

Key Responsibilities: Development and Deployment: Design, develop, and maintain key features of our SaaS platform. Technical Architecture: Participate in defining system architecture to ensure scalability and performance. Project Management: Take full ownership of projects from conception to completion with high autonomy. Innovation: Propose and implement innovative solutions to solve complex problems related to the energy transition. Code Quality: Ensure the quality, maintainability, and security of the codebase. Collaboration: Work synergistically with the team to align technical objectives with our environmental mission.

What We're Looking For: Strong Technical Expertise: Minimum of 5 years in software development with proficiency in [specific languages/technologies, e.g., JavaScript, Python, React, Node.js]. Autonomy and Initiative: Ability to work independently and take initiative. Problem-Solving Skills: Analytical mindset with the ability to quickly learn new technologies. Effective Communication: Excellent communication skills, ability to explain complex concepts clearly. Leadership Potential: Desire to grow with the company and take on increased responsibilities. Startup Mindset: Comfortable with ambiguity, adaptable, and motivated by a fast-paced environment. Alignment with Mission: Passion for the energy transition and making a positive environmental impact.
