Vestwell is a continuously evolving data engine at its heart.

If you are someone who dives into whatever challenge is placed in front of you, you will find yourself involved in the planning and coordinating our overall AI-BI solutions, working with our Technical Director and his data engineering team to develop new research models and predictive analysis tooling.

What Will You Be Doing?

  • Understand high-level strategic initiatives and stakeholder requirements; identify opportunities; and translate inputs into buildable features with clear benefits
  • Effectively communicate and share plans and rationales
  • Partner with developers to break down product requirements into discrete tasks with clear functional requirements/acceptance criteria
  • Provide constant and iterative feedback to the development team, including identifying bugs and assisting in resolution
  • Complete functional testing and provide initial product sign-off when features are ready for end-user verification
  • Develop processes and tools for tracking usage trends and allow data to inform future development plans

Requirements The Necessities

  • Graduate degree in data science or heavily-weighted category
  • Ability to define and plan overall ML strategy with our Technical Director
  • Ability to define and write algorithms
  • 2-3+ years of Product Management experience
  • Exceptional business and systems analysis skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, project-oriented environment to meet deadlines under tight time constraints
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment consisting of Product, Engineering, and QA resources
  • Excellent communication skills, both in verbal and written formats
  • Must have the ability to interface with internal stakeholders
  • Ability to write/design python and/or R statistical programming

The Extras

  • Data warehousing experience (Snowflake or Databricks)
  • Actuarial experience

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
