Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform surgical procedures with precision and care, ranging from routine spays and neuters to complex soft tissue surgeries.
  • Conduct thorough physical examinations and diagnostic tests to assess the health status of patients and formulate treatment plans.
  • Provide general medical care, including vaccinations, parasite control, and preventive healthcare measures.
  • Communicate effectively with pet owners, offering guidance on nutrition, behavior, and overall wellness.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless patient care and maintain accurate medical records.
  • Participate in continuing education activities to stay abreast of advancements in veterinary medicine and surgical techniques.

Requirements:

  • Education: Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or Veterinary Medical Doctor (VMD) degree from an accredited veterinary school.
  • Licensing: Valid state veterinary license in good standing or eligibility to obtain one.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in veterinary medicine, preferably in a clinical setting.
  • Skills: Proficiency in diagnostics, treatment, surgery, and preventive care.
  • Attributes: Compassionate, empathetic, and dedicated to animal welfare.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and handle animals of various sizes and weights, and to stand for extended periods.
