The posting

The Vet Office is recruiting an ECC Night Veterinary Surgeon for an independently owned small animal hospital in Limerick, Ireland. This is a full-time role with a dedicated night team, covering emergency and critical care and looking after hospitalised patients.

The role

  • Salary up to €75,000 gross per year, depending on experience
  • Rota of 5 nights on, 10 nights off, averaging 30 hours per week
  • A varied caseload across emergency admissions, critical care and overnight inpatient care
  • A modern hospital with CT, ultrasound, digital X-ray, an in-house laboratory and separate wards for cats and dogs
  • A hospital team providing first-opinion care and referral services in surgery, dermatology and diagnostic imaging

About you

Ideally, you'll have 3–5 years of clinical experience, enjoy managing small animal emergencies and work well as part of a dedicated night team.
