Manager, Product Data & Technology Transformation

Now that you’ve found the job description, what’s next?

At The North Face we dare to lead the world forward through Exploration. We were born to Explore, Disrupt and to Lead. We were born to Love Wild Places and to Spark Curiosity. We believe that exploration is a mindset, both on the mountain and off the mountain, and it infuses everything we do.

As a community of explorers, we stay curious about new ideas, places, and people. So, before we get to the job details, take a minute to learn a little more about us, our values and our culture.

If you can see yourself working side-by-side with a team of adventure-loving people, The North Face just may be the place for you.

What will you do?

A day in the life of a Manager, Product Data & Technology Transformation at The North Face looks a little like this. You will support product data governance and technology and process improvement initiatives across product groups at The North Face. Reporting to the Director, Product Management – Go To Market, you will partner closely with cross-functional teams and regions to support consistent execution of data standards, processes, and system adoption.

You will bring together product data and technology expertise to identify business needs, document requirements, support solution development, and coordinate implementation and adoption. Acting as a key connection between business teams and technology partners, you will help translate technical capabilities into practical solutions that improve data accuracy, process efficiency, and the overall user experience.

As part of The North Face Go To Market Transformation, you will support key product data and technology initiatives, applying repeatable approaches to test, implement, measure, and continuously improve capabilities across product creation and commercial execution.

Let’s break down that day-in-the-life a bit more.

  • Execute and support product data governance activities, including data-quality audits, compliance monitoring, issue identification, and escalation to help ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across product groups.
  • Partner with VF corporate data governance teams and TNF stakeholders to implement and maintain established standards for VF-owned and TNF-specific product attributes.
  • Coordinate the global Late Add & Change process in alignment with seasonal buy cycles, including communication, issue tracking, reporting, and follow-up.
  • Serve as a key resource for TNF Product Attributes and support change adoption through training, communication, documentation, and stakeholder support.
  • Provide training, documentation, and adoption support across Merchandising, Design, Development, Planning, and Materials for systems including Flex PLM, Vibe IQ, and DAM.
  • Identify workflow improvement opportunities, document current-state challenges, and support implementation of approved solutions that reduce manual effort, improve data quality, and increase operational efficiency.
  • Gather, validate, and document TNF business requirements and translate them into clear inputs for VF technology teams, providing analysis and recommendations to support prioritization.
  • Coordinate with functional, brand, technology, and regional stakeholders on scope, timelines, deliverables, dependencies, and adoption, escalating risks or decisions requiring broader authority when needed.
  • Track agreed KPIs and prepare reporting related to data governance health, process compliance, system adoption, time savings, data quality, and operational efficiency.
  • Collect stakeholder feedback, monitor outcomes, and translate findings into clear recommendations for continuous improvement.

What do you need to succeed?

We all have unique skills that we bring to work and celebrate every day. For this role, there are foundational skills you’ll need to succeed and excel.

The foundational skills you will need in this position are:

  • Strong working knowledge of PLM systems, Flex preferred, and end-to-end merchandising and product-creation workflows.
  • Experience executing data governance processes, applying established standards, conducting data-quality audits, and resolving or escalating data issues in a complex, cross-functional environment.
  • Advanced Excel and Microsoft 365 skills, with hands-on experience using workflow automation tools such as Airtable, Power Automate, or similar.
  • Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data and business needs into clear recommendations and actions.
  • Ability to coordinate cross-functional initiatives, manage dependencies, and build effective working relationships across teams without direct authority.
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and follow initiatives through implementation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly and present findings and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Experience in apparel, outdoor, or consumer goods preferred.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
