As an Accountant, you will support the accounting function by ensuring accurate and timely processing of accounting documents, maintaining accounting records, and assisting with financial and statutory reporting. You will work across various areas of accounting, including fixed assets, materials, business travel expenses, and payroll-related reporting, while supporting the month-end closing process and other accounting activities.

This role is a great opportunity for an accounting professional with a solid understanding of accounting principles, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail to contribute to the smooth operation of our finance function in an international environment.

Responsibilities

  • Process and maintain primary accounting documents, ensuring their accuracy, completeness, and timely processing.
  • Maintain accounting records related to fixed assets, intangible assets, materials, business travel, and representation expenses.
  • Prepare statistical and payroll-related reports for relevant social protection funds and authorities.
  • Assist in preparing financial and statutory reports.
  • Support the month-end closing process, ensuring that accounting records are complete and accurate.
  • Assist with reconciliations and other activities required to maintain accurate accounting records.
  • Support the Chief Accountant at all stages of the accounting process.
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders to collect and verify accounting documents and information.
  • Help resolve documentation discrepancies and ensure the smooth operation of day-to-day accounting activities.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of relevant experience in accounting.
  • A university degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Good knowledge of accounting principles and experience working across different areas of accounting.
  • Familiarity with HR administration and personnel record-keeping.
  • Proficiency in 1C:8 (Human), Excel, and Word.
  • English proficiency sufficient for professional communication.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy when working with financial data and documentation.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Availability to work in a hybrid model, with at least 3 days a week from the office.
