Je staat in voor de dagelijkse opvang, verzorging en begeleiding van kinderen van 0 tot 3 jaar.

Je creëert een warme, veilige en stimulerende omgeving waarin kinderen zich op hun eigen tempo kunnen ontwikkelen. Je begeleidt hen tijdens hun dagelijkse activiteiten en stimuleert hun zelfstandigheid, creativiteit en sociale vaardigheden.

Je organiseert zowel vrije als begeleide spelactiviteiten, afgestemd de ontwikkelingsfase van de kinderen. Daarnaast begeleid je de eet- en verzorgingsmomenten met aandacht voor de individuele behoeften en het eigen ritme van elk kind.

Je zorgt voor een positieve en huiselijke sfeer in de leefgroep en hebt aandacht voor het welzijn en de lichamelijke en emotionele integriteit van ieder kind.

Naast de pedagogische en verzorgende taken sta je ook in voor het onderhoud en opruimen van de leefruimte en het verzorgings- en spelmateriaal, evenals de voorbereiding en begeleiding van de maaltijden.

Je werkt nauw samen met collega's en onderhoudt een open en respectvolle communicatie met ouders.

Algemene vereisten en functie-eisen

  • Je beschikt over een erkend diploma of kwalificatiebewijs dat toegang geeft tot de functie van kinderbegeleider in de kinderopvang (0 tot 3 jaar), conform de regelgeving van Opgroeien.
  • Je hebt kennis van de pedagogische ontwikkeling en de basisbehoeften van jonge kinderen.
  • Je kan kinderen op een positieve, rustige en pedagogisch verantwoorde manier begeleiden.
  • Je respecteert de lichamelijke en emotionele integriteit, de grenzen en het individuele ritme van ieder kind.
  • Je beschikt over goede communicatieve vaardigheden en beheerst het Nederlands voldoende om vlot met kinderen, ouders en collega's te communiceren.
  • Je kan zelfstandig werken, verantwoordelijkheid opnemen en functioneren binnen een team.
  • Je bent bereid om de nodige opleidingen en bijscholingen te volgen.
  • Je kan een recent uittreksel uit het strafregister, model 2 (596.2), voorleggen.
  • Je voldoet aan de wettelijke voorwaarden om als kinderbegeleider in de kinderopvang te werken.
