Village Caregiving - Point Pleasant, WV is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Night Shift Caregiver to provide exceptional care and support to our clients in Evans, WV. The ideal candidate will be attentive during overnight hours, ensuring the safety and comfort of those in their care while fostering a warm and respectful environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide overnight care and supervision to clients in their homes or care facilities.
  • Assist clients with personal care tasks including bathing, dressing, grooming, and medication reminders.
  • Monitor client well being and report any changes in health or behavior to appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment during shift hours.
  • Document care activities and communicate effectively with family members and care team.
  • Respond promptly and calmly to client needs and emergencies.

Requirements

  • Previous caregiving or healthcare experience preferred.
  • Ability to work overnight shifts reliably.
  • Compassionate, patient, and attentive personality.
  • Strong communication and observational skills.
  • Ability to perform basic caregiving tasks and follow care instructions
