Infirmier(ère) auxiliaire autorisé(e)

Postes- temps pleins, temps partiels et occasionnels disponibles, relais de 8 h ou 10 h

Principales responsabilités

  • Administrer les médicaments selon les ordonnances et documenter les médicaments administrés dans les dossiers médicaux conformément au protocole;
  • Guider et orienter les autres membres de l'équipe de soins;
  • Obtenir et consigner les signes vitaux;
  • Contrôler et consigner les nivaux de glycémie;
  • Effectuer des cathétérismes et fournir des soins de cathéter;
  • Prélever des échantillons tel que, expectorations, urine, selles;
  • Aider les résidants dans leurs activités de la vie quotidienne tel que les soins de base;
  • Transférer et positionner les résidants en respectant une bonne mécanique corporelle et en utilisant l'équipement approprié;
  • Observer les programmes de soins liés à l'élimination intestinale;
  • Répondre aux sonneries d'appel des résidants;
  • Aider les résidants au niveau de la mobilisation, de l'amplitude des mouvements et des exercices;
  • Surveiller la quantité d'aliments, de fibres et de liquides ingérés par les résidants et fournir l'aide nécessaire;
  • Fournir des soins palliatifs aux résidants et du soutien à leurs proches;
  • Fournir des soins post mortem;
  • Communiquer avec les résidants, les proches, les membres de l'équipe, les professionnels de la santé ou d'autres services du foyer de soins en ce qui concerne les besoins des résidants;
  • Évaluer, surveiller et documenter l'état de santé et le comportement des résidants et communiquer les résultats aux infirmiers(ère)s immatriculés;
  • Participer à diverses réunions;
  • Autres tâches déléguées par le surveillant.

Compétences recherchées

  • Diplôme d'un programme agréé d'infirmiers et infirmières auxiliaires autorisé(e)s du Nouveau-Brunswick;
  • Capacité de communiquer effectivement en français et anglais, à l 'oral et à l 'écrit; Capacité d'organisation de leadership et de travail d'équipe;
  • Posséder les capacités physiques et intellectuelles afin de rencontrer les exigences du poste;
  • Intérêt démontré en perfectionnement professionnel.

Preuve de vaccination complète contre la Covid-19, ou un certificat médical valide dispensant du vaccin est une condition d'emploi requise.

Salaire : Selon la convention collective débutant à l'échelon A 29,04 $ l'heure)
