Préposé(e) aux résidants

Résumé de fonctions

Aider les résidants dans leurs activités de la vie quotidienne telles que les soins de base;

Aider les résidants à l'heure des repas et s'assurer que les lignes directrices sont respectées;

Agir comme défenseur des résidants;

Répondre aux cloches d'appel des résidants;

Aider les résidants au niveau de la mobilisation, de l'amplitude des mouvements et de la marche;

Transférer et positionner les résidants en respectant une bonne mécanique corporelle, en utilisant l'équipement approprié et en suivant les directives;

Évaluer et maintenir les besoins des résidants en matière de sécurité en consultation avec l'infirmier(ère)s immatriculé(e)s et les membres de l'équipe des soins;

Participer activement à la cueillette de données nécessaires au plan de soins du résidant;

Surveiller pour des changements de l'état de santé ou comportement des résidants et les signaler à l'infirmière gestionnaire;

Fournir des soins palliatifs aux résidants et du soutien à leurs proches;

Fournir des soins post mortem;

Participer à diverses réunions;

Participer activement à l'éducation continue offerte.

Diplôme d'études secondaires ou d'études générales (G.E.D) non obligatoire sous certaines conditions mais serait un atout.

Formation pertinente au poste ou expérience serait un atout;

Compléter l'orientation préparatoire de préposé aux résidants avec succès;

Capacité de communiquer effectivement en français à l'oral et à l'écrit ainsi qu'un niveau d'anglais intermédiaire ;

Posséder les habiletés d'organisation et de travailler en équipe;

Posséder les capacités physiques afin de rencontrer les exigences du poste;

La vérification d'un casier judiciaire est requise.

Salaire : Selon la convention collective (débutant à l'échelon A 26.74 $ l'heure) Convention collective
