The analyst will collaborate with stakeholders, developers, other business systems analysts, vendors, and the broader IT team across requirements, solution delivery, testing, adoption, and production support. A strong candidate will be an analytical thinker, a natural problem solver, an excellent communicator, and someone who takes pride in delivering high-quality work.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES:

  • Manages projects from initiation through implementation, including gathering and documenting business requirements, coordinating user acceptance testing, supporting solution design, plus release management and user adoption.
  • Documents current-state and future-state business processes, performs gap and root-cause analysis, and evaluates upstream and downstream impacts across applications, integrations, data, and operating procedures.
  • Acts as the subject matter expert and representative for business users, ensuring that application performance and functionality support defined business-process needs.
  • Collects feedback from users on application performance and manages moderately complex configurations and resolution of technical issues.
  • Provide production support for LIMS and related production systems, including instrument integrations, triage, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and vendor escalations.
  • Ensures overall product quality by developing test plans and scripts and performing detailed functional, regression, integration, and upgrade testing for complex use cases, patches, and releases.
  • Monitors system performance and coordinates resolution of identified issues.
  • Participates in product management alignment to business capability strategy, business adoption, technology roadmap, system architecture and integration, including integrations between LIMS, the winery production system, and lab instruments.
  • Leads medium to large departmental and enterprise projects, including support of LIMS modernization and replacement efforts.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to utilize AI and automation technologies to drive operational efficiencies, improve decision-making, and accelerate business value across IT services and processes.
  • Participates in and provides after-hours escalated support as needed, including during harvest.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Essential Skills, Experience, and Education

  • Bachelor's degree in business, computer science or related field, plus 3 years relevant work experience; or 3 years of work experience with Laboratory Information Systems and Winery production related systems; or 5 years equivalent work experience.
  • Proficient at functional business process reengineering and ability to translate business processes into technology solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and drive innovative opportunities with customers, peers, and vendors to improve company efficiency and effectiveness.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
