Job Description

Overview:

The Senior Manager, GTM Strategy & Commercialization is responsible for developing regional go-to-market strategies that drive product adoption, revenue growth, and commercial success. This role serves as a strategic partner to Product, Sales, B2B Marketing, and Sales Enablement teams, translating business priorities into actionable GTM plans and compelling internal narratives.

The individual will lead the development of commercialization strategies, align stakeholders around a common vision, and ensure strategic initiatives are effectively communicated across the organization. Acting as the bridge between strategy and execution, this role will help socialize, evangelize, and scale GTM strategies through executive communications, leadership forums, sales enablement activities, and regional engagement programs.

The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking, executive storytelling, stakeholder management, and strong AI fluency to accelerate how strategies are developed, communicated, and adopted across the region. Knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) is beneficial to support launch planning and commercialization activities but is not the primary focus of the role.

Key Responsibilities:

GTM Strategy Development:

  • Lead the creation of regional GTM strategies for products, solutions, and strategic growth initiatives.
  • Assess market opportunities, competitive dynamics, client needs, and commercial priorities to develop actionable commercialization plans.
  • Partner with Product leaders to translate product vision into clear market strategies.
  • Define strategic recommendations to accelerate adoption, revenue realization, and market penetration.
  • Drive alignment across Product, Sales, Marketing, and regional leadership teams.

Strategic Narratives & Executive Communications:

  • Develop compelling narratives that communicate GTM strategies to internal stakeholders across the organization.
  • Translate complex product and business strategies into clear, engaging, and actionable messages.
  • Create executive presentations, commercial forums, and strategic storytelling materials.
  • Support senior leaders in presenting GTM strategies at regional and global Visa forums.
  • Ensure consistency of messaging across Product, Sales, Marketing, and Leadership organizations.

Stakeholder Engagement & Cross-Functional Alignment:

  • Serve as the primary liaison between Product, B2B Marketing, Sales Enablement, and regional commercial teams.
  • Build alignment and advocacy for strategic initiatives across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Coordinate the development of supporting materials, campaigns, and enablement assets required to activate GTM strategies.
  • Partner with Sales Enablement teams to ensure sellers understand, adopt, and communicate strategic priorities effectively.
  • Provide a structured feedback loop between field teams and strategy owners.

AI-Enabled Strategy & Commercialization:

  • Leverage AI and GenAI tools to accelerate strategy development, narrative creation, competitive analysis, and content generation.
  • Identify opportunities to embed AI into GTM planning, communications, and commercialization processes.
  • Drive adoption of AI-enabled best practices across commercialization and strategy functions.
  • Stay informed on emerging AI trends and assess their implications for clients, products, and commercial strategies.

Commercialization & Launch Support:

  • Support key commercialization initiatives and product launches by aligning messaging, stakeholder engagement, and readiness activities.
  • Collaborate with Product teams to ensure commercialization considerations are incorporated throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of GTM frameworks, launch processes, and communication approaches.
  • Provide light-touch support to PLM activities where commercialization expertise is required.

Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Master's, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 11+ years of relevant work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Master's, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD.

  • Proven experience developing GTM strategies and commercialization plans for products, solutions, or strategic growth initiatives.
  • Strong ability to translate complex business and product strategies into clear, compelling executive narratives and actionable commercial plans.
  • Demonstrated experience creating and delivering executive-level presentations and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills, with experience working across Product, Sales, Marketing, Sales Enablement, and regional or market teams.
  • Proven ability to influence without direct authority, drive alignment across diverse stakeholders, and move strategic initiatives forward in complex matrixed organizations.
  • Strong analytical and strategic problem-solving capabilities, including the ability to assess market opportunities, client needs, competitive dynamics, and commercial priorities.
  • Demonstrated proficiency using AI and GenAI tools to accelerate research, strategic analysis, narrative development, content creation, and productivity.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging for executive, commercial, product, and sales audiences.
  • Bilingual in English & Spanish.
  • Strong program leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple strategic workstreams and competing priorities.
  • Experience in payments, financial services, technology, fintech, or other B2B industries.
  • Experience developing regional or multi-market GTM strategies and adapting global strategies to different market and client needs.
  • Experience partnering with B2B Marketing and Sales Enablement organizations to translate strategy into campaigns, seller narratives, and enablement materials.
  • Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), product launches, commercialization readiness, or launch governance.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
