Job Description

Overview:

Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) partners with Visa’s clients to solve their most important strategic challenges and drive meaningful business results. We bring together strategy consulting, analytics, payments expertise, and deep industry insight to help financial institutions and merchants grow, compete, and innovate in a rapidly evolving payments landscape.

The Risk Practice within Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA) partners with North American issuers, merchants, acquirers, issuer processors, fintechs, and payment enablers to solve some of their most critical business challenges across disputes, fraud, authorization, and broader payment risk. We help clients balance growth, customer experience, operational efficiency, regulatory obligations, and financial performance in an increasingly complex payments landscape.

Combining strategy consulting, advanced analytics, deep payments expertise, and transformation execution, our work helps clients turn insights into action and deliver measurable business outcomes.

Visa is seeking a Senior Manager to join our Risk Practice and support the commercialization of Visa Disputes Optimization (VDO). This role will focus on dispute strategy, operating model transformation, and dispute optimization across the payment ecosystem.

This role is ideal for a commercially minded consultant with a proven ability to build trusted client relationships, identify and shape new business opportunities, and deliver high-impact engagements.

What You’ll Do: Be a key commercialization driver of the VCA Risk Practice:

  • Identify, shape, and convert new consulting opportunities by partnering closely with Visa account teams, product leaders, and client stakeholders to develop strategic engagements that address clients' most pressing dispute challenges.
  • Expand and deepen client relationships by proactively identifying sell-on opportunities, developing executive-level recommendations, and positioning additional VCA capabilities that deliver measurable business value and long-term client impact.
  • Contribute to the growth of the Risk Practice by developing new consulting offerings, thought leadership, methodologies, and go-to-market strategies that strengthen VCA's market differentiation and drive sustainable revenue growth.
  • Build ROI-driven business cases and sales narratives that appeal to all players in the payment ecosystem.

Partner Across Visa to Scale and Deliver Holistic Client Engagements:

  • Drive the evolution of the Dispute Risk Practice by identifying opportunities to leverage emerging technologies, AI, smart workflows, and scalable delivery models that improve client outcomes and support practice growth.
  • Convert client challenges into enterprise-wide opportunities by connecting dispute engagements to broader initiatives across fraud, authorization, product, implementation, analytics, and strategy consulting.
  • Collaborate across Visa's consulting, product, data, and account management organizations to structure integrated solutions that address complex client needs, accelerate business results, and create opportunities for expanded partnerships and follow-on work.

Leverage Core Consulting Skills and Apply Them to the Dispute Resolution Landscape:

  • Advise clients on dispute management, operations, and optimization strategies and build upon existing dispute knowledge.
  • Understand how dispute management intersects with broader organizational priorities, including customer experience, risk management, technology strategy, operational efficiency, and workforce transformation.
  • Stay up to date with technology and payment landscape trends that affect disputes while applying a strong foundation in strategy, transformation, operations, and client advisory to solve complex business challenges.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by bringing together disputes expertise, payments expertise, analytics, and consulting methodologies to deliver actionable recommendations and measurable business impact.

Why This Role:

  • Shape the future of dispute consulting at Visa by working across issuers, merchants, acquirers, fintechs, processors, and payment enablers within a fast-growing Risk Practice area.
  • Play a key role in the growth of a rapidly expanding practice by developing new offerings, driving commercialization efforts, and creating opportunities for long-term client impact.
  • Combine strategy, analytics, payments expertise, and transformation consulting to help clients improve performance, modernize operations, and achieve sustainable business results.

Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

  • Proven ability to commercialize solutions and drive revenue growth
  • Experience partnering across sales, product, and delivery teams

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
