Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? Vishay Thin Film is currently seeking applicants for a Process Engineer responsible for all primary manufacturing areas including Deposition and Photolithography.
Job Location:
Vishay Thin Film is located in Niagara Falls, NY. The site has a lot of natural beauty to offer including the world-famous Niagara Falls which are just a short drive away!
What you will be doing:
- Using a team-oriented approach, develop new or revise existing processes to improve yields, improve product quality and reduce manufacturing costs.
- Develop or maintain accurate documentation/procedures detailing the exact requirements for effectively producing product and periodically monitor process to ensure procedures are being followed.
- Implement Statistical Process Control (SPC), wherever applicable, to monitor, track and control process parameters.
- Work with production and maintenance technician staff members to identify capital equipment requirements, develop a project plan to address these requirements and manage the project through final implementation and release to production.
- Train production, maintenance technician and other engineering personnel as required.
What you will bring along:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials or Ceramic engineering is required
- 2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated experience with Vacuum technology, Photolithography, and Thin Film Deposition, Sputtering experience is a plus
- High level of mechanical, electrical, and electronic aptitude
- Microsoft Office experience required
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality required
Pay Range: $85,000-$95,000 annually
