Die Vishay Siliconix Itzehoe GmbH ist ein Entwicklungs- und Produktionsstandort für Leistungstransistoren (Power MOSFET) mit über 550 Mitarbeitenden. Vishay investiert in Itzehoe in eine neue Halbleiter-Chip-Fabrik und erweitert damit künftig die Produktionskapazitäten.

Was Sie machen werden:

  • Führung und Weiterentwicklung des Bereichs Quality Management & Failure Analysis einschließlich Personal-, Budget- und Ressourcenverantwortung
  • Verantwortung für das standortweite Qualitätsmanagementsystem sowie dessen kontinuierliche Weiterentwicklung gemäß Kunden- und Normenanforderungen
  • Sicherstellung der Produkt-, Prozess- und Systemqualität in enger Zusammenarbeit mit Produktion, Engineering und R&D
  • Steuerung komplexer Fehleranalysen sowie nachhaltiger Ursachen- und Problemlösungsprozesse
  • Verantwortung für Kundenreklamationen, Eskalationen und qualitätsrelevante Verbesserungsmaßnahmen
  • Planung, Durchführung und Begleitung interner, externer sowie kundenbezogener Audits
  • Definition, Analyse und Reporting relevanter Qualitätskennzahlen für das Management
  • Leitung strategischer Qualitätsverbesserungsprojekte zur Steigerung von Kundenzufriedenheit, Produktqualität und Prozesseffizienz
  • Unterstützung von Kunden, Lieferanten und internen Fachbereichen in allen qualitätsrelevanten Fragestellungen
  • Repräsentation des Standorts gegenüber Kunden, Lieferanten und internationalen Stakeholdern

Was Sie mitbringen sollten:

  • Erfolgreich abgeschlossenes Studium der Ingenieurwissenschaften, Physik, Materialwissenschaften, Elektrotechnik oder einer vergleichbaren technischen Fachrichtung
  • Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung im Qualitätsmanagement eines produzierenden Unternehmens mit Automotive-Bezug, idealerweise in der Halbleiter-, Elektronik- oder vergleichbaren High-Tech-Industrie
  • Mehrjährige Führungserfahrung in einer vergleichbaren Managementfunktion
  • Fundierte Kenntnisse moderner Qualitätsmanagementsysteme und relevanter Qualitätsstandards wie ISO 9001 und IATF 16949
  • Erfahrung in der Bearbeitung komplexer Qualitäts- und Zuverlässigkeitsthemen sowie im Reklamations- und Eskalationsmanagement
  • Gute Kenntnisse gängiger Qualitäts- und Problemlösungsmethoden wie APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, 8D und Root Cause Analysis
  • Erfahrung mit Kunden-, Lieferanten- und Zertifizierungsaudits
  • Ausgeprägte analytische Fähigkeiten sowie eine strukturierte und lösungsorientierte Arbeitsweise
  • Hohe Kundenorientierung, Durchsetzungsstärke und Kommunikationsfähigkeit
  • Verhandlungssichere Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
  • Sicherer Umgang mit Microsoft 365 sowie idealerweise Qualitätsmanagement- und Reporting-Systemen

Job Location:

Vishay Siliconix Itzehoe GmbH is a development and manufacturing facility for power transistors (power MOSFETs) with over 550 employees. Vishay is investing in a new semiconductor chip factory in Itzehoe, thereby expanding its production capacity in the future.

What you will be doing:

  • Lead and further develop the Quality Management & Failure Analysis organization, including responsibility for personnel, budget, and resource allocation
  • Own and continuously improve the site-wide Quality Management System (QMS) in alignment with customer requirements and applicable industry standards
  • Ensure product, process, and system quality through close collaboration with Production, Engineering, and R&D teams
  • Drive complex failure analysis activities and implement sustainable root cause investigations and problem-solving processes
  • Oversee customer complaints, escalations, and quality-related corrective and preventive improvement actions
  • Plan, conduct, and support internal, external, and customer audits
  • Define, analyze, and report key quality performance indicators (KPIs) to management
  • Lead strategic quality improvement initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction, product quality, and operational efficiency
  • Support customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders on all quality-related matters
  • Represent the site in interactions with customers, suppliers, and international stakeholders

What you will bring along:

  • Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or related field
  • Several years of professional experience in quality management within a manufacturing company with a strong automotive focus, ideally in the semiconductor, electronics, or a comparable high-tech industry
  • Proven leadership experience in a senior management position
  • Strong expertise in modern Quality Management Systems and industry standards, including ISO 9001 and IATF 16949
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex quality and reliability challenges, as well as customer complaints and escalation processes
  • Proficiency in quality and problem-solving methodologies such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, 8D, and Root Cause Analysis
  • Experience conducting and supporting customer, supplier, and certification audits
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong customer orientation, leadership presence, and communication capabilities
  • Advanced Microsoft 365 skills; experience with Quality Management and reporting systems is an advantage
  • Professional fluency in German and English, both written and verbal
  • Excellent communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
