Bring your EEG skills to a high-acuity neuroscience program in Portland. A major medical center is hiring a full-time, day-shift Neurodiagnostic Technologist I to perform routine and advanced neurodiagnostic studies, from EEG and evoked potentials to epilepsy monitoring unit (EMU) and continuous EEG (cEEG) work. It's an excellent step for a tech who wants exposure to invasive monitoring and complex epilepsy care.

Requirements

What You'll Do

  • Perform routine and complex EEG procedures, including evoked potentials, EMU monitoring, continuous EEG (cEEG) and ambulatory video EEG
  • Monitor placement of sphenoidal, grid, depth and strip electrodes for invasive monitoring
  • Assist with WADA testing and cortical stimulation mapping
  • Prepare patients, apply electrodes and ensure high-quality, artifact-free recordings
  • Partner with neurologists, epileptologists and nursing staff to support accurate diagnosis

What You Bring

  • Education that meets neurodiagnostic certification, licensure or registration requirements
  • American Heart Association BLS (Healthcare Provider) by hire
  • 1 year of full-time EEG experience preferred
  • R. EEG T., CLTM or similar credential a plus
