VitalHire is hiring: Travel Registered Nurse - PCU at Ann Arbor, MI - $2,263/week!

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) for a fast-paced, high-acuity Surgical Stepdown Unit. This dynamic unit is ideal for clinicians with an ICU/Stepdown background who thrive in a fast-moving, clinically challenging environment.

Job Details

Profession: Registered Nurse - PCU Location: Ann Arbor, MI Facility: Acute Care Hospital Job Type: Contract

Duration: 13 weeks Rate: $2,263/week Shift: Nights (7PM to 7:30AM) Duration: 12 hours

Clinical Scope & Key Competencies: Candidates must be confident and experienced in managing high-acuity surgical devices, advanced lines, and titration/monitoring of continuous IV infusions:

Devices & Advanced Lines:

  • Arterial lines
  • Chest tubes
  • Tracheostomies & NG tubes
  • Central lines (PICC, CVC, Midlines)
  • Ostomies, Wound Vacs, and surgical drains (JP, Hemovac, etc.)

Cardiac & Vasoactive/Antiarrhythmic Drips: Cardizem, Nitro, Amiodarone

Continuous Drips & IV Infusions:High-Risk Infusions: Heparin, Continuous Insulin

Requirements

  • Active and unencumbered Michigan RN license
  • Active BLS Certification
  • Active ACLS Certification
  • 1 year of recent PCU experience
