The posting

Join our per diem pediatric ICU nursing team in Sacramento, California, providing compassionate, developmentally appropriate care for infants, children, and adolescents with acute or critical conditions. This PRN role supports safe, family-centered care in a fast-paced pediatric intensive care environment. Local pay is $61.59 per hour. Nurses assess patients, recognize changes in condition, administer treatments and medications as prescribed, collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team, and communicate clearly with patients and their families. You will follow unit protocols, maintain accurate documentation, and contribute to a safe, respectful environment. The schedule is per diem; shifts and availability are coordinated with the care team based on unit needs. Applicants should be comfortable caring for pediatric patients requiring close monitoring and complex interventions. Requirements

Strong documentation, clinical judgment, teamwork, and family-centered communication skills.
