Social Worker (Travel) - MSW - Burbank, CA

VitalHire is hiring a travel Social Worker (MSW) for an acute care hospital in Burbank, CA.

Contract details

- Weekly pay: $2,173/wk

- Stipend: includes a housing and meals stipend of up to $1,995/wk where eligible (GSA FY2027 max for this location)

- Shift: Day (5x8 Hours) 8:00 16:30

- Duration: 13 weeks

- Start date: 11/16/2026

- Openings: 1

About the assignment

- Start ASAP; no floating

- Caseload about 1:25 on days

- 2 years of acute medical social work experience covering both social work and discharge planning

- First-time travelers accepted after screening

- Weekends: every other weekend (Sat and Sun), with a weekday off

- Holidays: must commit to 3 of 5

- Patient population: adult and geriatric

- RTO: no more than 7 days

- Business attire or scrubs

Requirements

- LCSW or MSW; compact license in hand

- Epic charting experience required

- 2+ years of acute care social work and discharge planning experience

- BLS if required
