The posting

Voor een onderneming actief in de voedings zoekt Vivaldis een chauffeur C voor de regio Knokke-Heist. Je vervoert voedingsproducten naar professionele klanten en zorgt ervoor dat hun bestellingen veilig en volgens de afgesproken route worden geleverd. Je routes kunnen zich uitstrekken langs de oostkust van Knokke tot Oostende, in de regio Brugge en in het Meetjesland.

Je klanten zijn onder meer horecazaken, cateraars, slagers, bakkers, buurtwinkels, supermarkten, ziekenhuizen, woonzorgcentra, scholen en bedrijven uit de voedingsindustrie. Je bent tijdens je leveringen een aanspreekpunt voor klanten. Je bezorgt bestellingen op een klantvriendelijke manier en behandelt vragen of eventuele klachten zorgvuldig.

De functie omvat meer dan alleen rijden. Je taken bestaan onder andere uit:

  • De vrachtwagen laden en lossen met behulp van laadapparatuur.
  • Bestellingen orderpicken en mee instaan voor het voorraadbeheer in het magazijn.
  • Goederen veilig vervoeren en tijdig afleveren volgens de geplande route.
  • Leveringen en retouren correct administratief verwerken.
  • Klantvragen of klachten op een gepaste manier behandelen.
  • Overleggen met collega’s en de transportplanning wanneer dat nodig is.

Je werkt voltijds. De werkweek kan worden ingevuld over 4 of 5 dagen. De starturen zijn variabel en liggen, afhankelijk van de drukte, rond 5 of 6 uur. Weekendwerk is mogelijk, maar geen vereiste. De combinatie van distributie, magazijnwerk en klantencontact maakt je werk afwisselend.

Voor deze functie heb je een geldig rijbewijs C nodig, samen met code 95 en een positieve medische keuring. De vacature vermeldt 2 tot 5 jaar werkervaring. Ervaring als chauffeur is een pluspunt. Ook vertrouwdheid met logistieke processen en vrachtbeheer komt goed van pas, bijvoorbeeld bij het laden, lossen en opvolgen van goederen.
