Functie

Voor de vestiging in Erembodegem zijn we op zoek naar een werkplaatsverantwoordelijke die de dagelijkse productie van prioritaire voertuigen coördineert en technisch begeleidt. Je werkt in een gespecialiseerde afdeling die zich volledig richt op de ombouw van voertuigen tot utilitaire voertuigen (oa brandweer/politie) en bedrijfsvoertuigen.

Je krijgt de leiding over een team van ongeveer zes techniekers en zorgt ervoor dat elke wagen vlot, veilig en kwalitatief wordt afgewerkt. Je combineert leidinggeven met praktisch meewerken in de werkplaats en bent de technische spil tussen productie, werkvoorbereiding en verkoop.

Jouw takenpakket

  • Je coördineert en volgt de dagelijkse werkzaamheden in de werkplaats op.
  • Je stuurt, begeleidt en motiveert een team van ongeveer zes techniekers.
  • Je plant en verdeelt de ombouwwerken samen met de verkoper en werkvoorbereider.
  • Je beheert werkfiches en controleert of ze correct worden toegepast.
  • Je beantwoordt eerstelijns technische vragen van de techniekers en helpt hen verder bij twijfels.
  • Je analyseert technische problemen en zoekt praktische, kwaliteitsvolle oplossingen.
  • Je werkt zelf mee aan de ombouw, herstellingen en onderhoud van voertuigen.
  • Je controleert de conformiteit en eindkwaliteit van de voertuigen vóór aflevering.
  • Je bewaakt orde, netheid en veiligheid in de werkplaats.
  • Je werkt nauw samen met de collega’s op bureau voor een vlotte en efficiënte werking.

Profiel

Jouw profiel

  • Je beschikt over een bachelordiploma autotechnologie of je hebt minstens vijf jaar relevante ervaring in de automotive-sector.
  • Je hebt ervaring met het aansturen van een technisch team; dit is een duidelijke troef.
  • Je hebt een sterke technische achtergrond en kan collega’s ondersteunen bij uiteenlopende vraagstukken.
  • Je werkt gestructureerd, houdt het overzicht en stelt de juiste prioriteiten.
  • Je bent oplossingsgericht, stressbestendig en blijft kalm tijdens drukke periodes.
  • Je communiceert vlot in het Nederlands; basiskennis Frans is een pluspunt.
  • Je hecht veel belang aan kwaliteit, veiligheid en een verzorgde afwerking.
