Onze klant — een internationale, stabiele speler en gevestigde waarde in hun sector — is ter opvolging van de huidige Hoofdboekhouder op zoek naar een ervaren Senior Accountant / Hoofdboekhouder.

In deze rol word je de stuwende kracht achter de financiële afdeling op het regionale hoofdkantoor in Roeselare.

Beschik je over een vlot cijferinzicht, ben je een geboren People Manager en stuur je graag een hecht team aan? Dan is deze functie jou op het lijf geschreven.

Als Senior Accountant / Hoofdboekhouder ben je eindverantwoordelijk voor de volledige algemene boekhouding en stuur je een team van 10 gespecialiseerde collega’s aan.

  • Teamcoaching & Management: Je coördineert, motiveert en verdeelt taken binnen jouw team van 10 medewerkers. Je bent een toegankelijke coach die hen helpt groeien.
  • Boekhoudkundige Eindverantwoordelijkheid: Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de boekhoudrekeningen, periodieke afsluiten (maand en jaar), jaarrekeningen en diverse financiële documenten en statistieken.
  • Aangiftes: Je verzorgt de wekelijkse accijnsaangiften, maandelijkse btw-aangiften en fiscale/wettelijke verplichtingen.
  • Operationele Opvolging: Je bewaakt de maandelijkse rapporteringen, ziet toe op stipte betalingen aan leveranciers en volgt openstaande posten nauwgezet op.
  • Rapportering & Projecten: Je stelt diverse Excel-rapporteringen op, behandelt specifieke klantenvragen en tilt finance-gerelateerde projecten naar een hoger niveau.

Profiel

Jouw profiel als accountant:

  • Je beschikt over minstens een bachelordiploma in een economische of financiële richting en hebt minstens een 5-tal jaar ervaring als Senior Accountant of Hoofdboekhouder.
  • Je hebt bewezen ervaring met het leiden en coachen van een team.
  • Goede kennis van het Nederlands en het Frans.
  • Vlot met Word en Excel. Kennis van SAP is een belangrijke troef.
  • Je bent flexibel, nauwkeurig en communicatief sterk.
