The posting

Voor de regio Antwerpen en Limburg zijn we op zoek naar een Business Developer om samen met de huidige verantwoordelijke VMA verder op de kaart te zetten. Hiervoor zoeken we iemand die thuis is in de wereld van Building Technologie. Wat verwachten we verder van jou?

  • De regio’s Antwerpen en Limburg vallen onder jouw verantwoordelijkheid. Binnen deze regio’s leg je contacten met studiebureaus, eindklanten, aannemers, bekijkt de publicaties openbare aanbestedingen, … zodat je op de hoogte bent en blijft van wat er speelt op de markt.
  • Je kijkt uit welke projecten mogelijks interessant kunnen zijn voor VMA. Indien een match zet je alles op gang om dit project binnen te halen voor onze afdelingen.
  • We starten de calculatie – aan jou om in contact te blijven met de klant en de tussenfiguur te zijn tussen de klant en onze afdelingen. Je zorgt dat de vereisten van de klant behaald kunnen worden en stuurt zowel klant als collega bij mochten er afwijkingen nodig zijn.
  • De offerte is afgewerkt – samen met ondersteuning van de calculator verdedig je het dossier bij de klant, op technisch en financieel vlak.
  • Je stelt eventueel mogelijke varianten of prijsoptimalisaties voor om onze offertes nog competitiever te maken.
  • Je bent betrokken bij de contractuele discussies om de laatste punten en komma’s van het contract af te sluiten.
  • De klant gaat akkoord – je zorgt samen met het hoofd van jouw calculatiedienst voor een intake met de projectmanager die het project van dichtbij zal opvolgen. In tussentijd hou je contact met de betrokken partijen om een goede samenwerking te garanderen.

Wat verwachten we van jou?

  • We verwachten voor deze rol iemand met een uitgebreide ervaring in een commerciële rol en ervaring in het opbouwen van sterke klantenrelaties.
  • Je hebt reeds kennis van de sector, met nadruk op alle elektrotechniek en HVAC. We verwachten geen diepgaande technische expertise maar een algemene brede kennis van voornamelijk elektrotechniek en goede basiskennis van HVAC-installaties. Een brede know-how om de nodige zaken te interpreteren is noodzakelijk.
  • Bij voorkeur heb je naast het Nederlands ook een sterke kennis van het Frans.
  • Je gaat proactief opzoek naar nieuwe opportuniteiten.
  • Je neemt deel aan commerciële meetings zowel intern als extern en tevens ook aan potentieel interessante beurzen, ..
