The posting

The Senior Product Manager is accountable for driving the strategic direction, commercial performance, and competitive differentiation across the B2B Starlink and Mobility product portfolio within Vocus. This role provides portfolio-level leadership, shaping what we build, why we build it, and how it drives shareholder and customer value. You will partner closely with Product Development, Mission, and Commercial Operations to translate strategy into execution and to deliver products that are differentiated, scalable, and profitable. Reporting to the Product Portfolio Lead - Networks, this mid‑level role has no direct reports but collaborates closely with marketing, sales, migrations, engineering and finance to ensure commercial success. Responsibilities

Own the product vision, positioning, roadmap and the end‑to‑end lifecycle of designated products & propositions - from conception and development through launch, growth and eventual phase‑out - ensuring offerings meet market needs and business objectives Translate business strategy into segment-specific value propositions and customer outcomes Lead market and competitor intelligence to identify white-space opportunities, emerging technologies, and potential disruptors Lead market research, competitive benchmarking and customer segmentation and value proposition analysis for your product area to identify needs, trends and competitive dynamics, translating insights into product opportunities and enhancements. Prepare product pricing, discount policies and packaging tiers for approval by the Finance team Set clear product requirements and priorities for new features or solutions, collaborating with Engineering and Operations to ensure on‑time, high‑quality development that meets specifications Refine the product’s value proposition and positioning in partnership with Marketing, ensuring that messaging resonates with target customer segments and differentiates our offerings from competitors Prepare sales plays and GTM messaging with marketing and commercial and drive successful product launches, go‑to‑market plans, and product migrations and exits, aligning efforts across Product, Marketing, Migrations, Technical Sales, Sales and Support teams to ensure new offerings are introduced effectively and achieve adoption goals and product migrations and exits are supported maximizing Vocus revenue and optimum customer outcomes Analyse product performance post‑launch (adoption rates, revenue, customer feedback) and use these insights to prioritise product improvements or roadmap adjustments. Engage directly with key customers and sales teams on strategic opportunities to provide product expertise and gather detailed requirements or feedback, influencing future product development and roadmaps Partner with Finance and Strategy teams to define portfolio targets (growth, yield, and EBITDA) Define product positioning and differentiation by segment (Enterprise, Wholesale, Government, or SMB).

Requirements

Minimum 7+ years’ product management or equivalent commercial/technical experience Bachelor’s degree preferred Strong experience in market & customer insight, offer definition, demand modelling & value proposition design, business case development, pricing strategy and analysis Exceptional stakeholder and customer engagement with a bias for collaboration, action and clear communication Strategic yet hands-on approach with a strong sense of accountability for outcomes — able to balance market insight with operational delivery Structured thinker, capable of converting complexity into clarity Customer-centric mindset, ensuring all initiatives deliver tangible business and user value.
