Help Shape the Future of AI in Legal & Regulatory Services

Are you a legal or regulatory professional with experience interpreting laws, evaluating compliance requirements, or conducting legal research? Interested in applying your professional expertise to emerging Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology?

Volga Partners is seeking experienced Legal & Regulatory Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to support a specialized AI content evaluation pilot focused on the legal and regulatory environments of Mainland China and Spain.

We're looking for professionals who understand how legal frameworks operate, how regulations are interpreted and applied, and how complex legal information should be evaluated within the appropriate jurisdiction.

In this role, you'll leverage your expertise to review AI-generated legal and regulatory content, assess legal reasoning, verify information against authoritative sources, and identify inaccuracies or unsupported conclusions.

This is not a traditional legal advisory or legal representation position. Instead, you'll apply your professional knowledge and analytical judgment to help improve the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of AI-generated legal information.

No prior AI evaluation experience is required. Your legal knowledge, research abilities, and market-specific expertise are what matter most.

Areas of Legal & Regulatory Expertise We're Seeking

We welcome professionals with demonstrated experience in one or more of the following specializations:

  • Corporate & Commercial Law: Business regulations, commercial transactions, corporate governance, and contractual obligations.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Regulatory requirements, compliance frameworks, regulatory reporting, and compliance assessments.
  • Legal Research & Interpretation: Statutory interpretation, case law research, legal opinions, and regulatory guidance.
  • Financial & Business Regulations: Financial services regulations, business licensing, regulatory obligations, and institutional compliance.
  • Contract & Legal Documentation: Contract review, legal documentation, regulatory disclosures, and legal risk identification.
  • Administrative & Regulatory Law: Government regulations, administrative procedures, regulatory authorities, and enforcement requirements.
  • International & Cross-Border Regulations: International business requirements, cross-border legal considerations, and jurisdiction-specific regulatory frameworks.
  • Legal Risk & Compliance Analysis: Identification of legal inconsistencies, regulatory risks, and unsupported legal interpretations.

Candidates are not expected to specialize in every area listed. However, they should demonstrate meaningful professional knowledge within at least one relevant legal or regulatory specialization and the ability to evaluate technical legal information accurately.

Market-Specific Expertise

We are recruiting Legal & Regulatory SMEs with relevant professional experience or education involving one of the following markets.

1. Mainland China – Legal & Regulatory

Candidates should have relevant professional experience or education involving Mainland China's legal system, regulatory environment, or compliance requirements.

  • Legal research, regulatory analysis, and compliance assessments involving Mainland China.
  • Identification of legal inconsistencies, unsupported interpretations, and regulatory concerns.
  • Review and validation of legal documentation and regulatory materials relevant to the Chinese market.

Location Requirement: Candidates must currently reside outside Mainland China, specifically in Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, the United Kingdom, or the United States.

2. Spain – Legal & Regulatory

Candidates should have relevant professional experience involving Spain's legal system, regulatory environment, or compliance requirements.

  • Spanish corporate law, commercial regulations, and business compliance requirements.
  • Spanish legislation and applicable European Union legal frameworks.
  • Interpretation of Spanish statutes, regulatory guidance, and legal documentation.
  • Legal research, regulatory analysis, and compliance assessments involving Spain.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
