Position: Operations Manager/ Shift Supervisor   The Operations Manager/Shift Supervisor is responsible for facilitating daily shelter operations.   Cromwell Avenue Safe Haven is a facility that provides temporary housing, nutritious meals, clean clothing, counseling groups and case management services to formerly homeless men. High school diploma or GED preferred plus one-year relevant experience working in a similar capacity in a social service setting. Must possess good interpersonal skills and basic computer knowledge. Certifications in security required and Fire Safety (F-80) obtained within 3 months of hire.

  Operations Manager/ Shift Supervisor Principal Responsibilities:

Supervise delivery of program services including intake, bed assignments, case management services, distribution of client mail, lockers, meal cards and medication. Ensure optimal customer service is being provided to clients. Ensure recreation activities are occurring. Ensures the facility is adequately staffed at all times. Work with DHS PD to ensure the daily security and safety of the facility. Supervise facility maintenance, cleaning staff and fire safety. Manage community relations and communicate with relevant authorities as needed.
