Volunteers of America Ohio & Indiana is dedicated to helping those in need rebuild their lives and reach their full potential. As an organization stretching across Ohio and Indiana we have over 1,000 committed and compassionate employees working in multiple impact areas. This position is specific to the area of Community Corrections and Residential Reentry.

The Therapist will be responsible for providing treatment to individuals in a residential or out-patient setting and maintaining appropriate documentation; responsible for providing individual counseling as needed.

VOAOHIN provides a treatment environment that:

  1. Allows a therapist to work as part of a comprehensive treatment team
  2. Allows a therapist to do extensive, face-to-face treatment with clients
  3. Allows a therapist to focus upon the treatment and care of clients, instead of a productivity standard
  4. Allows a therapist to avoid the common treatment “pitfall” of client no-shows

The position requires a master’s degree with a current license (LISW, LPCC, IMFT or higher). The ability to conduct individual and group counseling, complete assessments, develop resources, and maintain client records is essential. Applicants must have 1-3 years of professional experience.
