A Brief OverviewThe Director, Infrastructure & Maintenance is responsible for enterprise strategy, governance, and continuous improvement of facility infrastructure, maintenance systems, and asset reliability across Voyant Beauty's manufacturing network. This role establishes standards and long-range plans that improve facility and equipment reliability, strengthen preventive and predictive maintenance practices, optimize utilities and infrastructure, and improve visibility through CMMS, OEE, and performance metrics. The Director partners closely with site Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, EHS, Quality, IT, and Finance to reduce operational risk, improve asset performance, and ensure infrastructure and maintenance priorities support business objectives What you will do
Develop and lead enterprise strategies, standards, and governance for facility infrastructure, maintenance systems, asset management, and reliability. Establish consistent expectations and best practices across manufacturing locations. Provide enterprise leadership for CMMS, preventive and predictive maintenance, maintenance planning, asset hierarchies, work-order processes, OEE, and equipment reliability. Drive system adoption, data integrity, and consistent maintenance practices across sites. Oversee facility infrastructure including HVAC, electrical distribution, boilers, steam, compressed air, water/wastewater, fire protection, life-safety systems, roofing, and general building systems. Lead facility assessments and identify reliability, compliance, capacity, and business-continuity risks. Develop multi-year infrastructure and maintenance capital roadmaps based on asset condition, operational risk, compliance requirements, capacity needs, and return on investment. Support facility modernization, expansion, equipment replacement, and major capital initiatives. Establish and monitor enterprise KPIs for maintenance effectiveness, equipment uptime, OEE, facility health, utility performance, and reliability. Use data and root-cause analysis to identify improvement opportunities and drive accountability. Partner with site and functional leaders to align infrastructure and maintenance priorities with operational objectives. Lead change-management, training, best-practice sharing, vendor partnerships, and enterprise initiatives that strengthen maintenance and facility capabilities. Lead utility optimization, energy reduction, water conservation, and sustainability initiatives. Support regulatory, insurance, permitting, audit-readiness, and corrective-action activities related to infrastructure and maintenance. Partner with Engineering and Operations on equipment commissioning and maintenance integration for capital projects. Manage key contractors, engineering firms, consultants, service providers, and equipment partners. Support investigations involving infrastructure failures, equipment reliability, maintenance gaps, or utility disruptions. Provide senior leadership with facility health, reliability, capital, and risk assessments. Support critical infrastructure or equipment issues outside normal business hours as needed
Education Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Reliability Engineering, Facilities Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Technology, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline. (Required)
Experience Qualifications
10+ years Progressive experience in maintenance, reliability, infrastructure/facilities engineering, asset management, manufacturing engineering, or industrial operations. (Required) 4-6 years Experience leading multi-site or enterprise maintenance, reliability, infrastructure, or engineering programs. (Required) 4-6 years Demonstrated experience with CMMS, preventive and predictive maintenance, asset reliability, OEE/KPI reporting, infrastructure assessment, and capital planning. (Required) 4-6 years Experience in regulated manufacturing environments such as personal care, cosmetics, OTC, pharmaceutical, food and beverage, or consumer products. (Preferred)
