For our dynamic and creative Project Procurement Team based in Karlsruhe, we are looking for a full-time (40 hours/week) Project Contract Manager (m/f/d).
Your mission
- You act as the first point of contact within the Supply Chain organization for assigned project delivery teams.
- You develop, execute, and continuously optimize project procurement strategies while ensuring close alignment between project and procurement functions.
- You coordinate and facilitate effective collaboration between suppliers, contractors, and project delivery teams.
- You manage contracts throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring contractual compliance, performance, change order management, and the resolution of claims and disputes.
- You identify contract-related project risks and work closely with project teams to implement and monitor mitigation measures.
- You build and maintain strong supplier relationships, drive supplier development initiatives, collect feedback, and foster continuous improvement, innovation, and value creation across the supply chain.
- You contribute to and take responsibility for the effective implementation and maintenance of management systems.
Your profile
- You hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Economics, Law, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- You bring several years of experience in large CAPEX projects within the Energy, Chemical, or E&P industries.
- You have proven expertise in procurement and contract management, ideally with more than five years of experience managing major EPC, EPCm, and construction contracts.
- You are a skilled negotiator with strong communication abilities in both German and English.
- You thrive in a dynamic project environment, work effectively under pressure, and take a proactive approach to solving challenges.
- You are a collaborative team player and willing to travel for business negotiations and supplier meetings.
