Vultr is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical Program Manager to drive the end-to-end execution of our most complex, large-scale AI data center build programs. The ideal candidate is a seasoned program leader with 10+ years of experience who excels at navigating high-growth ambiguity, managing multi-layered stakeholder relationships, and translating complex technical infrastructure requirements into clear, actionable business outcomes. This is a highly visible role in a high-growth technology company, which will require expert-level organizational change management, executive-ready communication, and the ability to maintain program-level visibility across global workstreams. Key Responsibilities
- Program Accountability: Serve as the primary point of accountability for the end-to-end delivery of comprehensive data center builds, overseeing multiple complex workstreams simultaneously.
- High-Stakes Facilitation: Lead and facilitate critical conversations, workshops, and decision-making sessions with technical leads and executives, ensuring alignment and resolution in high-pressure environments.
- Stakeholder Orchestration: Act as the central hub for communication between internal teams, external vendors, and global partners, ensuring transparency and alignment at all levels.
- Program Visibility: Maintain the "source of truth" for program health by ensuring all schedules, dependencies, and risks are accurately reflected in program management tools.
- Executive Communication: Distill high-density technical jargon and infrastructure updates into concise, executive-level summaries and dashboards for business leadership.
- Ambiguity Navigation: Lead through uncertainty by establishing structure where it doesn't exist, proactively identifying bottlenecks, and driving cross-functional resolution.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of Program Management experience within a technical or infrastructure-focused organization.
- Expert-level proficiency in Smartsheet and Jira Plans; specifically in building and managing multi-program portfolios and dependency-linked schedules.
- Exceptional Communication & EQ: Proven ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority and translate technical complexity for business audiences.
- Deep experience in Organizational Change Management: Ability to drive process adoption and maintain program health during rapid scaling and pivots.
- Technical Fluency: A strong foundational understanding of data center deployments and the critical path items required for infrastructure rollouts.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale, "multi-vendor" builds where you were accountable for the entire program lifecycle.
Compensation
$120,000 - $150,000
Final compensation will vary depending on years of experience, background/skill set, location, and applicable laws.
